Nope, only played 2 games that entire month. In the PL we have actually only had 3 league games at home since jan 1st. Had 3 cup games at home in that time though.

Didn't realise we had not won a home game since January. Must be due one then. Going to go for a 3-1 win for us.

Pretty poor tbh. Nobody stood out. If I had to pick our motm I'd pick Forster. We really lacked creativity today. Don't think our subs made any real differences. On to the next one.

We have been poor today all over the pitch. Since the goal we haven't created anything. Goal aside jwp has been pretty rubbish. Davis, Redmond and Cedric have had better days. As much stick as forster gets he has made some saves that has kept the score respectable Imo.

That was a bad tackle by Davis but Cedric and Romeu should of done better there. Running into each other. No communication out there.

Fair play to the lad. I'm nowhere near his biggest fan and his opta stats this season are not exactly amazing. But whatever you think of him he tries hard and is very dedicated to our club. He doesn't strike me as a typical modern day footballer attitude wise. Going to put a punt on him scoring a goal.

Very good performance overall. OK defending not the best but we are scoring now and look a threat. Tadic, Redmond and Gabbi all seem to click together. You can see the difference with a settled side. Good win for us. Onwards and upwards!

Sort of agree with what he is saying. But we had a 2 weeks break prior to the utd game. And another 2 week break after the weekend. 2 games in a month isn't very much at all. Should allow our players a lot of resting time.

Not at all. To think we can keep everyone is very naive. There is a food chain and those with more money will always plunder those with less. However I do not believe we have to sell as many as we do. Wanyama was inevitable as he threw his toys out. But we could have kept Mane and Pelle in the same period. Fonte did not have to be sold. It has taken us until February to sort out those mistakes and we do not know yet if the Fonte one has. For a club that constantly tells us they plan ahead with everything and there is a strategy in place I seriously see a lack of it recently. As I said we are in a cup final that is fantastic. I will be there drunk out my face cheering us on from the stands. Win or lose we deserve that day out for the progress the club as a whole has made in recent seasons. But to say some of the decisions we've made this season had to be the way they were I strongly disagree.

But would that be the city who finished 3 points ahead of us last season? The Liverpool who finished below us last season and were only 2 points above us the season before? Or the Spurs who finished 4 points ahead of us that year? Like you say brilliant stuff mate. I don't know if you saw but we were ranked 22 in the recent clubs money list? That's better than 'big' clubs like Benfica, Galatasary etc. Even more than those sleeping giants our previous manager left us for. That's a higher revenue than Inter etc but you are right we should do what those teams around us last season did and sell 3 or 4 of the teams best players....after all we are only little old Southampton.

What an absolute load of horse ****. First off what have I said that's doom saying? It's a fact if you rely on selling you better have something to always sell. Who in our squad will command the fees that Mane etc had? The only one is VVD. This season we have not replaced players on the same level as in previous seasons and if you believe they are then you are as deluded as you seem. And secondly I think you may need to go and have a look at which player they sold..... which makes your point totally idiotic. It proves my point that selling key players will have a negative effect eventually UNLESS they are replaced with players of the same level. Leicester didn't do that and they are where they are. We didn't do that and we are where we are. We are in a cup final and that is great. We finished three points off the last CL spot last season. So by your logic (or stupidness) are you saying last year was luck or was it about amazing planning? Because if you are then that would have to mean the opposite for this season. So what is it a great forward thinking strategy that accounts for all eventualities or simply luck? As for the clubs thing see my previous post...
