  1. The Souness rumour has been about for a few weeks now, so maybe there is some weight behind it being true?
  2. Docker, what doesnt sound too convinving? Nothing has been said to be fair, you dont know the package, the people behind it or what they have to offer. Things I beleive have changed over the weekend, hence the delay
  3. sounds just the like odds for us to win the ccc when we first went down
  4. anonymity !
  5. Like Duncan says above RL is not involved at all with Pinnacle. A few people on here do know the names involved but their anonymity is something they wish to keep (so if you do know please dont go mentioing names). Some people will ask why? I honestly dont know the answer to that, but personally I see nothing bad behind it. As for when the deal will be done, well I have been told that there are few legal issues to be resolved that have crept up and they are at this time still sifting through the in and outs
  6. Stu I agree 100% with that. Im gonna to name drop here but it is something that has stuck in my mind. Chris Marsden once said to me "there is only one kind of loyalty in football, and that is the fans" sums it up really doesnt it!
  7. lol no thanks I hate their products with a passion!
  8. I have had this issue too! I used this fix from Autodesk this problem occurs when the ContentBrowserLibrary.cbl files becomes corrupt. To test this theory, try renaming your ContentBrowserLibrary.cbl files to ContentBrowserLibrary.old and then launch a session of Content Browser. In this scenario, a new ContentBrowserLibrary.cbl files will be automatically created and Content Browser should once again be functional. Unless you modified the location of the cbl file during the installation of AutoCAD Architecture, this file will be located in the following location: C:\My Documents\Autodesk\My Content Browser Library\ACD-A 2009\ Please note that the newly created ContentBrowserLibrary.cbl file will not include each of the stock catalogs. You can either manually add them to the new library or if you have another system on which Content Browser is functioning and that uses the same install path for AutoCAD Architecture, you can copy the ContentBrowserLibrary.cbl from that system.
  9. OK you may feel that way but what if lowe matched it (Overdraft now sat at £500,000) Wilde matched it (now in credit to the tune of £1.5m) Wilde resigns (from the football board and not the plc, which I think is what the deal was) Crouch becomes chairman (of the football board) Lowe became PLC chairman but had no involvement with football matters (fat chance lol) JP was sacked (he went anyway, so wonder what his package was, wouldnt be much) Wotte was sacked his compensation to be paid personally by Lowe and Wilde (only falling dwon bit for me) I know it is all what ifs but, the above requests to be fair are not really bad ones. The main failing is the contribution of money not the resigning / moving to another position. For me it just shows that Lowe / Wilde had no money or intention of putting any money back in to the club
  10. Nick, your sub editing works a treat, and does look a crap deal from Crouch, but one question for you From both boards or just the football one?
  11. I know people are saying forget Rupert etc, but I recently heard that Rupert was the man that hired / oversaw Nick Leeson at Barings Bank while in the UK and is quite open about the appointment. Not knowing if true and just the normal anti lowe onslaught I did some digging and it seems there is a connection. Below is an extract from one of Nick Leesons articles Its quite an amusing read http://www.totalgambler.com/othersports/columnists/26/leeson_tis_the_season_to_make_money.html
  12. I love that expression
  13. not as far as IM aware, and wasnt last week
  14. LMAO Barry! I will never forget when I got hold of the directors listings for Trican. Um Pahars rang me straight away and just said 3 words - "Google Barry Beardle"
  15. Been in the wings for ages. He insitgated the Runnymede meeting to get everyone back together ie Lowe, Crouch, Wilde etc. Was a director a Centreprise Computers in Basingstoke, was the pin behind the sponsorship deal for the academy etc etc http://www.microscope.co.uk/welcome/news/reseller-news/green-leaves-centerprise-after-15-years/ http://www.pressnewsnetwork.com/detailed/801.php
  16. All I know is that Stuart Green has resigned from his post centreprise and has had meetings with Fry. Marc Jackson as we all know is Greens right hand man.
  17. The bids I suspect will be around the £12m mark. This will buy you the club all the assets and no debt. Barclays and Aviva will settle for about 3m and 8m respectivley with the odd going to other creditors. No doubt Aviva will put in a clause that will mean we pay a figure back to them on contractual basis if we reach the top flight, as might Barclays. The difference between the 2 bids will be what thay can offer the club in the future and this is going to be the interesting bit. It is all ******** about Barclays not accepting as what will happen. We have no buyer, the whole place is wound up and then sold off. IN this climate you might get £6m tops for Jackson Farm, Staplewood and SMS, you then split that the same way and people start getting much less

    press conference

well I have been told that the main board / conference room has been booked out for 2 weeks
  19. Stuart or Phillip, wait until tomorrow morning and I will tell you for definate.
  20. I agree Nick, the timing of this has been a major concern of mine. I spoke to FF (Duncan) last week and Um Pahars and said the same thing - "why leave this late!"
  21. Nick, I have been saying the same thing since this all started, which I also hope answer Stanleys concerns
  22. Your not wrong there!
  23. To be fair chaps, I would be expecting that objective from any consortium. Although note how they have worded it "at least an attempt at promotion" which does cover their ass
  24. It seems, various posters and the press have been reading the forum and contacting Pinnacle and asking questions. As we all know there is nothing definate at present and as far as I am aware they have not yet completed DD with Mark Fry. The following has just been sent to me to put up on here. The facts as of present are. 1. They have already assessed the value of the bid and know that fundamentally this will be agreeable to the administrators and creditors alike (that’s the easy part ) 2. The long term commitment is harder to assess. They are currently working on various projections but please appreciate the amount of variables. 3. Their client does not just want to buy the club, they want to turn it around within 4 seasons, with a minimum goal of at least an attempt at promotion to the top flight within that period. To be honest I think they have done this so people stop hounding them for questions until they can come out publically this week. But again I stress, please dont get too excited as nothing is definate yet. We know there is another bid with the administrator which may even be better. Like I said before just because MLT is involved does not make it a better or definate.
  25. Fractured a rib during the celebrations when Baryy Horne scored that screamer aaginast Bolton. Also broke my big toe when I kicked the wall at Coventry when they scored in the last minute to make it one all in the 90's
