psychologically every saints win is pushing the team further and further... it is not just about 3 points but about momentum and confidence... if the players get off the pitch tonight and find out they have shot up the table... tell me that isnt going to have a VERY positive effect on the team?

Lambert has been ill...(but still plays..respect) We lose a game (it happens but not as frequently these days) and we dont beat Norwich (A good team who shouldnt probably be in this division) all are facts and as some reasonable posters say... the doom-mongers have a field day.... treat them like the annoying mites they are.... spray them with IGNOR-O-SAINT and in next to no time their annoying attention seeking voices will pale in insignificance!

Cox and Murray ran our defence ragged for the first 30minutes and if we had been 0-6 down it would not have been suprising... The game was lost in that time and after that we played long ball and on the whole Brighton defended well and looked solid, they gave up ossession to us but we did not make the most of it.... puntingthe ball into the area was never going to phase them. Midfield gave away too much and on the whole the defence did too , when Brighton looked interested they threatened to score as was proven by their third. A bad day at the office.. yep.... can we bounce back.. course we can... times have changed..BUT saints are going to have to prove that they will learn from this experience!!

not the same brand of football as midweek..... hoofed and punted.... CBs were dire in first 30mins which lost us the game.... midfield lacked urgency.... forwards didnt really move about much. V poor show today .. apart from Lallana who consistently tried to gather the ball na dd distribute..... poor...poor ..poor...
