If that's the names I think we'll play like this:
----------------Davis---------------
------------------------------------
James------Cork-----Perry---Surman
------------------------------------
--------Wotton-------Gillett--------
------------------------------------
DMG-----------Lallana----------Dyer
----------------John---------------
No Skacel in the squad.
Saints: (from) Davis. Bialkowski, James, Surman, Perry, Cork, Mills, Dyer, Wotton, Schneiderlin, Gillett, Lallana, McGoldrick, John, Pekhart, Wright-Phillips.
Does anyone know what kind of ref Phil Crossley is?
John or Pekhart upfront with DMG coming from the right and Lallana behind the striker. DMG has played very well on the rightwing although he does need track back a bit more.
Only a 3 match ban.....
I don't see the difference between Thatchers challenge and Guthrie's tbh. OK, Thatchers challenge was at high speed but they both were out to hurt the player in question and had no intention whatsoever to play the ball. I don't see how this is not an "exceptional case".
This is not going to have effect on the short term. Its a technique trainer that will work with players individually. This is more about player development that first team tactics or anything like that. Read the bit on wikipedia about the Wiel Coerver Method via the links I posted in my previous post.
Famagusta is not helping you though.
Anyway, nervous moments for Inter. Panathinaikos are really pressing them and Inter cannot get much done on the break either. Muntari is a waste of space in that team. He is so out of his depth.
Well, its not picking names out of a hat. Like the article said, he has a successful football academy in the Netherlands that is apparently popular with several players in the Netherlands. Your comment about British coaches is fair enough I suppose but the fact of the matter is that this philosophy (in Dutch its called the "Wiel Coerver Methode") on football training comes from the Netherlands and it has picked up big time in recent years. The problem is, not many foreign coaches are familiar with it, so I don't think there is many (if any) British coaches that could do this (Which might explain why Manu have a Dutch coach doing this).
As for your comment about them having 4-6 games. I don't think that should have any effect on hiring coaches for both youth and senior teams.
