It doesn't but maybe it should give some of the people shouting for manager changes etc. some perspective. What we need now is a calm club, not one in turmoil. Just look at Newcastle atm to see what that does to a club.

You do know that that statement would exclude any black&white photo from being a photograph. I do agree with the sentiment but I think the statement needs a bit of fine-tuning.

"Right to know".... What ever happened to a "Right to privacy" or a "Right to a new life" after you served your punishment. This information should not be given to parents, if anything authorities could do check ups on previous offenders to see if they're not putting themselves in situations they shouldn't be but that is very different to putting that information in public.

6 points the minimum? What's the maximum.... Anyway, I'd say at least two points is essential. Two points would at least stop the losing streak and anything more gives us a win. Ofcourse we need points in the end but as long as we don't lose the team will get more time to settle without pressure building up too much. I do feel its essential we don't lose the next game though, three games lost in a row is difficult to come back from. It will be interesting to see our bouncebackability (Wasn't it Dowie that "invented" that word?).

Something the EU will have to sort out.

Well, both of them seem to agree the scoreline was harsh on us anyway.

Maybe it was the combination of the two, Perry doubtful and them playing with only one striker. Besides, with some important home games coming up maybe it was a good choice to rest him if he was carrying a knock.

Vignal and Davies.

Can I just point out that Davis got to that ball before Blackstock. It wasn't offside, I'll give you that, but it wasn't a goal either and it was also at a very different stage of the match.

I've got the Nokia 6220 Classic myself and have been very happy with it. It does have pretty much any feature you could want including the 5.0 camera and its not as expensive as a N95. http://shop.nokia.co.uk/nokia-uk/product.aspx?sku=3854316&culture=en-GB&cp=localbuynow&pp=homeShopTsr_6220classic

I think people are overreacting a bit. Yes we lost and quite emphatically, but there were quite a few reasons besides the quality of our team that led to this result. Although starting off with a goal within 40 seconds is entirely our own fault We had a red card that in my opinion didn't have to be red (I just watched it on Saints TV and if that's red then Delaneys challenge on Scheiderlin later in the match is red as well) and even after the red card we managed to play OK although we did need Davis to save the day a few times (but that's what happens with a man down, holes appear in your defence). The second half I thought we were the better team and had the better chances and took our goal very well. Then they score the most obvious offside goal in ages and even after that we were the better team until Scheiderlin went of (did he carry a knock from that Delaney challenge? He didn't seem to be running freely after that). We went for plan B then with an extra striker but that never really worked. Pekhart played OK but after Scheiderlin went we lost the midfield battle and they walked over us which let the defence to being pressured. This would have not happend if: - we still had 11 players or; - Scheirderlin had stayed on or; - It would have been 1-1 at the time. In the end I think we were unlucky in the first 60 mins and in the last 30 mins we were crap but with a reason. Next match, I'd say Perry has to start (still a bit baffled why he didn't today) and we just need to continue with playing the way we did before Scheiderlin went off.

BBC iPlayer doesn't work abroad does it? I tried to watch that 'Terror in the Skies' thing a few days ago but it wouldn't let me. Now I can jsut download the whole show and with great pic quality as well.

Davies is not the same kind of prospect as Lallana. First of all he's a defender (who generally go for less then midfielders and attackers), secondly Davies was already tried in the PL and found to be average there and thirdly he's just a better player.
-
Not enough, especially with his new contract just being signed. 4/5 million plus a nice sell-on clause at least. Besides that I doubt we'd sell in January.
-
Perry, I agree, he should play and I don't really get why he didn't play today. John, I'm not sure. This formation is based on pressuring the opposition defence and disrupting their play. Not exactly John's style. Rudi I wouldn't give a place in the starting lineup just yet although maybe with Holmes out for a while there's not really another option. In the last reserve game he was ok (according to reports) but before he got injured he didn't seem motivated. He needs to get that drive back before he gets a place in the team.

Thanks for that, now I can watch MOTD and Top Gear again. Stupid Swedish Cable companies only have BBC World instead of BBC 1&2 (which is standard in the Netherlands).

+1 I missed the first half because I had a match myself but I thought we were very good (with 10 men) until Morgan went off really. Before that we managed to get an equaliser and we dominated midfield. That we have to be punished by the most obvious offside goal in ages is a blow but even after that we were OK for a while. When Morgan went off and Pekhart came on we started to lose the midfield battle. Maybe plan B wasn't working this time around but with only 10 men there's only that much you can do. Strange decision though to take of Scheiderlin but I think he might have had a knock from a tackle by Delaney just a few minutes before. Btw, I'm hearing mixed messages on the red card. Was it justified or was it harsh?

We don't deserve this scoreline and in the end I blame the lino. We were at 1-1 and we were the better side until that goal, even with 10 men. After that we had to push for a goal again and it opened up at the back for QPR. But without that goal we could have played a bit more conservative. This results doesn't say a whole lot about the rest of our season IMHO.
-
I agree. But that lino needs to learn to put his flag up....
-
I think Morgan took a knock from that Delaney challenge.
-
Pekhart for Scheiderlin.

Two yellow cards for QPR within a minute. About time too.
