Time for Gaston to get his chance and deliver at united? (injury permitting)

Surely that is then racism ? Unless GR has a crap attitude the only thing I can think is work rate/commitment -

What are the issues with MP? Anyone reckon it's the work rate required from him? If we could get a real decent AM in we could really be onto something, still hoping Gaston can pull his socks up and get a crack at it -
Straight 4-3-3? Interesting choice to drop Lambert

Utd are due to give someone a serious hiding soon, hoping it is not us

Getting better with every game, prem is a different beast to the SPL,needs to polish up on certain aspects of his game but when he develops those he will be immense
-
Under pressure for a lot of the 2nd half,we would of crumbled last season great times ahead for us Wanyama looked decent today, seems to be finding his feet Fox was crap

LOL at the palace fans trying to guess the attendance as well on one forum Loads of them thinking they are in for a real tonking.........has 0-0 all over it

I still think we need Ramirez in the team,we look a decent team right until the final 3rd,we need a creative playmaker/attacking mid to set things up and RL dropping deep is not the answer, actually maybe GR is not the answer either but we need a creative player to start making chances I watched a fair bit of the game and even though I was highly critical of playing with no wingers,AL & J-rod looked decent out there with Clyne & Shaw overlapping,Osvaldo looked very lively and will create havoc when he settles in 100% and is firing on all cylinders. I am not saying RL should be dropped for Osvaldo but we deffo need a creative spark to start creating chances,Juan Mata on loan in Jan would be ideal or failing that Ramirez living up to his reputation

I know you have those rainbow laces somewhere

Wan kyama losing it again on the edge of the box
-
Sick touch by Osvaldo then,he really does look a class above Ramirez showed that promise as well last season
-
Open game so far

Sakho and Toure full backs Is that to highlight the fact we have Strikers as wingers and no pace??
-
What happened to these air conditioned super stadiums they were building??
-
That formation provides loads of width,we just don't have the players to carry it out
-
No those days are gone What I would like to see is players playing in there actual position,we play to many people out of position we needed some who could create something in the middle I am not saying Gaston is the answer because he is inconsistent but we had all summer to do something. Wingers that actually have pace so if need be we have a option out wide. Our game is too one dimensional, too narrow and we are getting snuffed out
-
Playing with 3 strikers (4 if you count AL) and 2 defensive midfielders no wonder we cant seem to score.no creative mid no actual wingers.it has potential to be a very long season for us unless this team starts to click, this whole play from position thing doesn't wash with me,you play players out wide (wingers) they need to be able to beat a man for pace and put a ball in,why do we have nobody that can do that ???? I am pretty sure we are the only team in the league that play this formation without actual wingers !! Teams will know that we play a very narrow game and will snuff us out,I am sure it will all work out but the worrying thing for me at the moment is that there is no plan B
-
Disappointing result considering it was ours for the taking, however West Ham were solid at the back and came for a draw,if not for the post/keeper we would of won 3-0. They never really troubled us and when they had a sniff we dealt with them.

He had one save to make and he saved well. Offers more stability at the back than Gazza and Davis combined. WUM thread

Wanyama is so off the pace he can't even make it onto the pitch in time for KO
