  1. Well I wanted Blocks 6/7/8 but £780 is herociously expensive, so going to have to move to either Block 5 or 9
  2. United. Absolutely hate them.
  3. I personally miss The Saint SO much, loved the post-match phone-in (even got on there myself on 1 occasion) and the dedicated coverage. Solent is OK don't get me wrong, but it has to juggle the skate bastards, Bompey and Us which makes it a bit sh it IMHO
  4. Picked up another 6 tickets to another 3 events last night in the general sale. Now attending: Rowing, Table Tennis, Badminton, Boxing, Beach Volleyball , and Football

    Sky tv

Had Sky with all the TV packages since 1999/2000 or so. Always think everything is top top notch, the football coverage, football first, SSNHD, their new HD services etc. Also briefly had ESPN for a season, but couldn't justify the extra £9 a month so cancelled it. Tried Virgin recently but thought the TiVo box wasn't as slick or user-friendly as my Sky+HD box to be honest, but suppose getting ESPN for free is a plus.
  6. Geography is important:
  7. Well that's the 'French part of Africa' Reed is talking about, he even mentions Algeria, Tunisia and Morroco in the interview, which are in North-West Africa and Egypt in the North-East
  8. He meant North-West Africa. Which I'm guessing stretches from Egypt and goes West across the coast going through Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco etc. then heading South down the West coast into Mauritania, Senegal, Cameroon, Mali, Niger, Liberia, Ivory Coast etc.
  9. Absolutely buzzing to go to the Emirates, St. James' Park and the Etihad (again). Really looking forward to Anfield, Goodison, Spurs, Villa Park, Wigan and Swansea as these are the only ones I haven't done. Think Fulham and Chelsea will be good away days too, and Reading's closer to me than Southampton so easy to get to that too!
  10. Leicester Away FA Cup 05/06 - My first away game Palace Away 06/07 - Played Palace off the park in their own back yard West Brom away 07/08 Derby Away 06/07 - Play-offs Derby Away 08/09 - Shoved their play-off wins in their faces My number 1 definitely has to be: Wolves Away 06/07 - 6-0, literally an amazing away day, taking the p**s out of the Wolves fans on the coach on the way out was hilarious
  11. Usually when the game comes out most lower league teams are ****e, with 1/2 players' rating a bit above the average. As the season progresses they update the ratings accordingly. Rickie's rating went from 67 to 73 between Sept. 2011 and March 2012 I believe, and Lallana went from 72 to 76 or something like that. Usually EA focus all their time and attention into the Premier League, as thats the one everyone cares about apparently.
  12. St. Mary's won't be included. The majority of Prem grounds aren't included. Think the only ones that are: Emirates Stadium, Stamford Bridge, Old Traffford, Etihad Stadium, Anfield and Sports Direct Arena. All the Wolves'/Villa's/Wigan's/Spurs' of this world will just have generic stadiums like 'Ivy Lane' that look a bit like the ground they're meant to be, without all the intricacies that make them unique. Also, players will now be properly scanned in using Motion Capture rather just a generic face that looks kinda like Rickie/Lallana etc.
  13. Hardly the 'big' name Liverpool fans require is it?
  14. It's probably just gossip and hearsay amongst football's 'inner circle' of players/club staff etc. Although it was strange what Adkins said after the final game of the season, something along the lines of 'well you don't know how long your going to be in a job like this, so two successive promotions is a dream' On the other hand though, can't see Nigel being denied his chance of PL football after all these years, you could see in the Live Post-match interview he was emotional about the journey he's been on for like 10-15 years to get to the PL, and I doubt Cortese would deny him his chance.
  15. ridiculous
  16. Absolutely love this song, when its being sung in the Northam its amazing.
  17. Hilarious watching all of you argue over hypothetical theories such as the mythical '5 year plan' Personally, I think the old 5 year plan will be torn up. And replaced by a new one...and at the end of that 5 year plan is.....Europa League football at St Mary's. Then if we achieve that before/on-time then we can push ahead with another 5 year plan to get into the Champions League, I personally have no doubt about it that the sky's the limit as far as Cortese's concerned. He's put his money where his mouth is, got us to the Premier League, invested wisely in the stadium infrastructure/training ground infrastructure/staffing infrastructure and set the club on course for success. A bit of money splashed in the summer, some shrewd purchases and we could finish as high as 10th next season. Keep the squad in tact, add 3/4 players in summer 2013 and you could have a squad capable of getting Europa League football for the 2014/15 season. MAYBE. I'm not arguing over issues such as stadium attendance, thinking we're not good enough/don't have enough money to get into Europe etc. These are hypothetical issues, why argue about them. WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE, let's enjoy it!
  18. My aim is to go to every game home and away next season.
  19. Definitely booing Kenwyne Jones and Ricardo Fuller. Surman, Bale, Walcott and Chamberlain i'll cheer
  20. I'm praying for not another yellow shirt. It's just so boring.
  21. It won't be yellow next season. It'll be Black/White or possibly light blue.
  22. 1 of the promoted teams gets a top 6 side every season, sometimes 2. (Based on the last 5 seasons in the Premier League) The 2012/13 season won't be any different. 1 promoted side WILL get a top 6 side. Go onto the Premier League website, find the last 5 seasons handbook's (like I have) and you will see the results. So its a 1/3 chance (possibly a 2/3 chance) that we'll get a Top 6 side at the start of the 2012/13 Premier League season, want me to make that any clearer for you? :)
  23. I've done a bit of research and found out some interesting patterns in regards to the Promoted teams' first fixture in the last 5 years of the Premier League, starting from the 2007/08 season to this season 2011/12. 2007/08 - All 3 promoted teams avoided each other - 2 teams played a top 6 side 2008/09 - All 3 promoted teams avoided each other -1 against a top 6 side 2009/10 - All 3 promoted teams avoided each other - 1 against a top 6 side 2010/11 - All 3 promoted teams avoided each other - 2 played a top 6 side 2011/12 - All 3 promoted teams avoided each other - 1 played a top 6 side. So there is a 1 in 3 chance we'll be up against Spurs/Newcastle/Man City/ManUre/Arsenal/Chelsea home or away in the first match. There is also a 1 in 3 chance we'll be up against an established PL side (Stoke/Wigan/Norwich/Aston Villa).
