  1. Cortese is a frikkin god as far as I'm concerned. We are not worthy. League 1 to Premier League in 2 seasons gets you god-like status to me
  2. Japan's an amazing country. Got the chance to go there in 2007, and it was insane. I for one would be absolutely amazed if we went there for pre-season though, just flying the team out would cost £20,000-30,000
  3. Now Birmingham aren't going up. Curtis Davis and Chris Burke CDAJFU
  4. Fantastic read. Can't believe all that turmoil in 7 years, only for us to go and become a Premier League club again in the short time since Liebherr and Cortese took over. They really have done a bloody brilliant job, absolute clowns were running the club before they came along. Wilde/Crouch/Lowe/Askham all absolute bellends.
  5. Peter Beagrie is a nothing player that just happened to get a punditry job at sky because he's played alot of his career in the lower leagues. He's bearable to me, but I think its laughable that he probably earns £40-50K a year for what he does, and the nondescript career he's had. As for Goodman. Complete ****, everytime I've listened to his commentary involving us he's always heavily biased for the other team (eg. Leicester Home) and if West Ham/Reading etc. are playing then he was always biased towards them. He's a sh it commentator and a sh it pundit. Next.
  6. All the one's I haven't been to: Swansea, Everton, Aston Villa, Wigan, Spurs I'm very much looking forward to. But probably looking forward to Arsenal away the most as I have alot of Arsenal supporting mates that go regularly upto the Emirates, so will be a great trip up with them on the train filled with plenty of banter.
  7. All I'll miss is the regular 3PM kick-offs every saturday. The PL fixtures are so higgledypiggledy it's unbelievable. Every weekened we could be playing Saturday at 12:45/5:20, Sunday at 12:45/1:30/4PM or Monday Night (MNF) at 8PM
  8. Great thing for Foxy and Lallana to do.
  9. *centre
  10. I would imagine all the London matches will be hard to get tickets for, but any north of Birmingham should be easy to get a ticket.
  11. So anyone that hasn't had a ST for the last 7 years is a glory hunter? Ridiculous.
  12. I'd say expect £40 most expensive part of ground £36 cheapest, £33 Students etc. incl. the cortese tax for individual tickets. As for season tickets i'd say £700 for the most expensive ST was reasonable at £36 a game. Expect the cheapest ST on sale to be £590 for new STH's personally.
  13. Been waiting 7 years for us to get promoted. Not going to squander the opportunity to see the team I love pit themselves against the best-of-the-best in the Premier League. As said above, I was also a season ticket holder in 06/07 and 07/08 and went to almost every game in 06/07. Unfortunately haven't been able to have one since then because of University, but have attended roughly half home games and half away games since...that's during the FLC relegation season and our 1st/2nd seasons in League 1. Hardly a glory hunter I think. Love this club, and so proud they are back in the Premier League, my aim is to go to every match home and away next season
  14. Thanks. This has settled my nerves a bit, would be crestfallen if I didn't get one for next season.
  15. Thought they'd sell out. Before when we were in the PL my mate always used to tell me 'getting a match ticket is like gold dust' and 'don't even think about getting a season ticket, they're impossible to come by' so i guessed I always believed that it would be nigh-on impossible? It'll be a sell-out every match like the good ol'days I would've thought, so I just guessed it'd be very difficult to get a season ticket this season
  16. Do people think that there's a good chance of getting a Season Ticket when they come out? I was a Sseason Ticket Holder in the 06/07 and 07/08 seasons but gave it up for just regular tickets because of University. Now I've finished Uni and we're in the PL in gagging to get a season ticket this season, but think I probably won't be able to get one when they come out? Thoughts anyone, does this sound about right, or should I get one fine?
  17. Still think we need a PL quality keeper. Davis was dire in his last PL outing for Sunderland years ago and I was absolutely flabbergasted that he got in the FLC team of the season ahead of decent keepers like Myhill, Schmeichel and Fererici. Think we could do with a better keeper, love Kelvin and he's done well this season but I really do think we need a top quality keeper for the PL, I don't think people realise how difficult Davis will find it in the big leagues.
  18. If Richardson plays in our 1st team in the PL we'll be relegated
  19. He's not going anywhere. But even if he did, he is extremely replaceable, Spurs are welcome to him.
  20. Away. I have a feeling it'll be Norwich away.
  21. Cricket, Tennis, Formula 1 and this year Euro 2012 and the Olympics
  22. I've done a tiny bit of self-research and found that every PL club does indeed have the electronic advertising boards. Some have them on just one side of the stadium that the camera sees, but most have them around 3/4 or all of the stadium. Also, I've looked through the PL handbook for last season and I can't see any precise rules that say you have to put the electronic advertising boards up for TV audiences, or that they'll be erected by Sky for their live TV matches. So presumably, every PL club or their sponsors just like them to have them up? Would think it was very likely Nicola would install these as they provide incredible revenue for the club from sponsors. Just 1 minute of advertising costs on average £3,500-£6,000 during a live PL match.
  23. I'm actually glad we've got a sponsor that isn't a bookie, insurance company or airline to be honest.
  24. In Vegas a Puerto Rican gentleman approached me in the Venetian casino and wanted to take a photo of the aap3 logo as it was similar to his company aap back in Puerto Rico. True Story.
