I dont think anybody can disagree with that statement . But what it means to Pardew's future is open to discussion . We just need to get good results against the top teams in the next few weeks but away to Norwich next game is not the best game for fortunes to change

I think you have summed up my feelings too. Except with regard to the Echo where I dont think the press should be forced to agree to whatever a third party wants if it is not in its best interests. I still dont know why they are banned and why it cannot be sorted out or how important the situation really is

I think it is totally niave to believe that everything that comes out of an organisation like the Echo or SFC does not contain some PR and Spin. I agree that like you I do not know why the Echo was banned but would like to. I dont think banning any paper by SFC is good idea in anyway. I just have an open mind thats all I must admit I did not know that being a Saints supporter was like being in a political party where you had to be on message all the time. I have said many times that the ML takeover was the best thing to have happened to SFC for sometime but getting back to the Premiership is going to be hard work and possibly take some time because other clubs are trying to do the same thing as well. But we are doing OK on the field for a change and hope with the new players that we start playing well and start beating teams who are our promotion rivals

It is pointless because NC is only just starting out and should be given time and has no baggage perhaps things will be different in ten years time

Perhaps you should reconsider your response I dont think it is particularly clever to be abusive on this forum. It is possible to have a valid point of view which is opposite to yours

Before we can come to a conclusion of the rights and wrongs of the case we need to know the facts so perhaps Cortese should explain why the Echo is banned. Cortese may have a good reason for banning the Echo but not because the Editor is supposed to be a pratt This would mean that a fair size proportion of the UK would be banned as well;)

I think we are talking at cross purposes but I will read the initial post again. I did not think SOG was putting across an argument but asking a question as to how the forum acts towards NC and RL in similar circumstances Suggesting if RL did something like not buying Ward the response would be completely to different to that which greeted Cortese. But putting up the Thread in the first place was pretty pointless as things are going well and what is the point of dragging up Lowe again. The club is much better with NC/ML in charge

Perhaps Murray wants to sort it out and Cortses does not so they are just reporting the News. There does not seem to be any confirmation that AC Milan were after Cortese but they may have been but I find it highly unlikely that AC Milan wanted Cortses after only a few weeks running SFC but only time will tell.

Thats being a bit Paranoid I dont think there are many with an agenda against NC and the club what makes you think that. But some may think he may not of acted correctly with regard to the Echo. But in all other aspects there has been little or no criticism as things are going well

I dont think there is anything wrong with the signings but that is not the point of the OP he is saying I think that posters attitude towards NC is completely different to RL. If Lowe did some of the things NC did he would be slated for it. I dont see the point of the thread really but as I have nothing better to do I am posting on the forum this afternoon. Going into Administration and getting bought out by ML is the best thing that could have happened to the club as with the PLC there was no real chance of us competeting in the Premier League without loads of money. Lets face it the only way Pompey became relatively was spending money they did not have at least ML seems to have sufficient for the needs of SFC at the moment

I dont think anybody knows but I would expect that it is being run as a business as NC would be paid on some criteria.

Dont think the club has been badly run except under Wilde for the past fifty years os so but with more money available hopefully we will have some success. If the club had not invested in St Mary's and the Academy it is unlikely that we would have Markus now It has been really the lack of money surely which caused our problems.

I dont think people are complaining just interested in how the club is being run
