What at surely not football? Darts Possibly or Bar Billiards

Not really sure if I am bothered about this game really but as I am going up to the Ipswich area next weekend I suppose we better win. Jaidi in for Fonte Harding for Mills if better Then no idea because Pardew will have another little tinker with the midfield and attack
-
I did not think that Ormerod was as good as that Not sure Pardew is going to play them much together
-
No maybe a great signing no one knows at the moment how he will perform
-
OK I'll do it. How many sold for Ipswich

They won the Second Division that Season and the First the next or soon after - Sir Alf was the manager -
So Lallana played badly last night because we were 1 0 up and Pardew did not want us to score anymore - appears a little far fetched to me.
-
Thanks probably too good for us
-
I have to agree
-
Did he used to play at Swansea?

Take your pick http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southend_utd/8470712.stm or http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/southend_reject_bids_for_city_target_485377/index.shtml

Of course it is fair if he is not playing well it has to be mentioned I would have thought. I totally agree with Delldays above who seems in a more sensible mood today If he had plyed well last night perhaps we would have won by more and be on our way to Wembley.
-
So you suggest that if he does not play well that is OK because he played well in November. He did not play well last night thats all as one of the more skilfull players he should be having more affect on games week in week out
-
I dont watch the Saints much these days about once a month or so but whenever I do Lallana looks good but has not actually achieved much. I know he has played well in other games and scored quality goals if we are to achieve success our better players need to perform well most of the time and this is probably has not happened in our recent matches. However I think Fonte looks an excellant signing so our defence is going to become better

I dont think Gleeson was winding up Morgan he was ****ed off because he was fouled Morgan should just have walked away but yes he was unlucky to be sent off as if he had pushed Gleeson away instead of connecting with his face things would have been different Good win though but it things like this which can alter the season

He is a professional sportsman not an OAP

Man U probably think we are Micky Mouse Club
-
I dont think he is a real team player tries to show off too much. Really good players sometimes just do the simple things well but not Lallana
-
I would agree with you if Morgan was reacting to a foul on Gleeson but it was Gleeson who was retaliating to a foul on Morgan. Whats more we commoitted more fouls than them as we continually harrassed them not allowing them to settle - something the commentators mentioned more than once. Our bookings were caused by stupidity not malice I thought it was a very good performance although I felt Lallana was not at his best and should have scored when put through by Lambert.
-
He did not grab him by the throat after being fouled he grabbed him by the shirt and Morgan pushed him in the face' Gleeson was booked which was the correct decision.
-
Because they are the rules
-
We need an 'old head' in midfield who can provide a link to the strikers
John B replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
No he often tries to be too clever and does not pass the ball earlier enough -
Yes I thought the same - played very well but did not seem that confident in front of goal I thought he played a lot better than Lallana who tried to be too complicated as oppossed to Morgan who released the ball quickly to team mates
-
Whilst watching the match it never occurred to me that the ref was poor it did occurred to me that some of the team were over agressive Thomas James and Davis in particular and fully deserved their bookings. Holmes was stupid kicking the ball away and Schendeilein unlucky but he hid push the MK Dons bloke in the face so was shown a red card. Perhaps next time you should ref and we can all what a mighty **** up you make of it;)

If Morgan had not pushed him in the face he would not have been sent off those apparently are the rules
