He maybe able to play in the Premiership but as he lacks speed I do not think he would be that successfull. Even good CCC Strikers seem to struggle in the Premiership such as Nugent and the striker from Wolves

Dont disagree in the least but what has it got to do with Lambert going to Leeds Pardew rates him very highly but like the previous poster I dont think Newcastle would want him and SFC would not want to lose him as he is key to us reaching the playoffs.

The trouble is nobody knows because of the past we want the new regime to succeed so many assume that NC and ML are pleasant and not arrogant and hardnosed. Perhaps they are perhaps they are not but I dont care NC can do what he wants if it allows SFC to succeed and things are going well at the moment.

The longer Cortese stays the more criticism he will get because he will be making decisions which some people will not like it happens in all walks of life. There is not much to criticise at the moment but I remember recently posts regarding the closing of the Chapel v Luton. People have opinions sometimes based entirely on emotion . Eventually of course this regime will become the old regime.

Exactly it is on the pitch which matters and at the moment thinks are good and hopefully will get better. Not sure what affect any tantrums NC may have will affect Bart's ability to stop shots or Lamberts ability to score goals

I agree he had little chance here. I wonder how much better it is going to get this season - the results against Leeds and Colchester and the Performance against Luton have slightly dented my hopes for a top six finish but I fully expect to go to Wembley at least once with SFC in 2010 thirty years after my last visit.

I thought Pardew said the squad was too big at the moment - when their contracts end new players will probably be signed

It must have been easier to run a football club when fans just turned up to watch the game and did not know or cared who was on the board.
