You m ust be joking - Pardew needs Southampton to succeed otherwise he has no future. He has done OK so far with us but others have done better with less resources

Ifill did OK for us a couple of years ago from Spurs and Jack Cork was OK so there are some around

Exactly I think that is what Pardew was saying when he first arrived

I totally agree we also got Euell as well We needed a CB but had plenty of strikers

It is easier in the summer getting players in after their contracts end

I was thinking the same thing not many clubs outside the Championship can attract good quality players from higher leagues without paying excessive wages
