Gillett is too small lacks pace and strength to be a very good midfield player in League 1 he is after all 24 not 18. We have better ones at the moment

This is just a rehash of the Echo Story http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4565034.Rasiak_in_talks_to_leave_Saints/ on Sky http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_5515519,00.html

I thought Gillett lost the ball in midfield to give the ball to B'ham leading up to the first goal but I dont think he will be first choice this season now that Hammond is here
-
Unlike the players you mention Gillett does not appear to have strength to with stand challenges or speed to get away from tacklers
-
Wotton was a lot better than Gillett last night I thought. I just feel Gillett is too small
-
Yes I agree every time I think things are going to get better they dont Last night Before Murty got injured I thought we were going to win but we did not Perhaps we will win three in a row but I doubt it I dont think that is being negative only realistic
-
Me too I think Morgan had a go and was equally as bad
-
Yes me too and others in the Chapel
-
Yes I thought lambert was good but had no pace
-
Yes we played really well and I thought we could have won but I think Birmingham's superior fitness proved decisive in the end. After your comments after the last game I thought I was watching a completely different team. Even Wotton played OK and James was pretty good in Midfield It was well worth a tenner although the fiver spent on this forum is even better value
-
Yes I thought we were going to win before Murty went off However Birmingham probably did make better chances and their defence were quick to react when we were attacking
-
Of course the boy has talent but he does not seem to harness the talent to enable the team to score goals with his final ball His corners were not good either. It is after all goals which win matches
-
I thought they all played well nobody really outstanding all 7s apart from Davis 8 although Lallana's goal was special and showed nice touches but no real end product I thought James and Wotton were pretty good in midfield and when Murty was injured things went wrong. We never seemed to get to the byline very often
-
Yes that is how I saw it I was surprised that Morgan did not come on when Murty went off
-
Yes I did It all went pear shaped when Murty went off. Wotton had a great shot as well
-
Why what did he do wrong? I know he booked Wotton for a tackle from behind
-
That is how I saw it Gillett was ineffectual when he came on but Brum seemed stronger as well
-
I think you are right but there are some agressive posters who cannot accept other peoples point of view especially when it comes to past Chairmen
-
I thought it was a Mochican actually

Munto Finance v Markus Liebherr (Notts County v Saints)
John B replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Campbell to Notts County http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/notts_county/8218136.stm It is going to be more difficult to get out of League 1 next season if Notts County are there -
Some balls at Driving Ranges are not as good as at others

I wonder who they played -
It is comments like this which stop some people from contributing on the Forum. Although the sentiment is probably correct this type of thread lets fans put forward their own ideas of team tactics

Dont think Peery or Murty will play so Wottton will probably be back if Hammond as is cup tied. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/8205339.stm Mills I would have thought needed some reserve games We have never lost to Birmingham in the League Cup As we beat them 5-2 in 1978, 3-0 seven years later and 2-0 last season.

Signings like Lee Hughes, Luke Rodgers, Ben Davies, and Graeme Lee have helped take the Magpies to the top of the table. So it can happen and it does to most clubs
