You would have thought so but who knows.
I would have thought the only way money could be made is to sell it on at a later date but there is a risk in that
Unfortunately no one knows what plans ML has for the club
Probably we will become very successful but we may not nothing can be assummed that is my point.
There is absolutely no evidence that they are running the club in a more professional way than previous regimes.
Not having Lowe there helps I would have thought
I have been watching SFC since 1962 in my opinion
there have been five legends in that time
PAINE DAVIES CHANNON MLT STOKES
Great Characters Good Players too
O'Neill McGrath Steele Osgood Kirby Golac
Outstanding Players
Shilton Keegan Ball
Very Good Players
Chivers Armstrong Watson Svennson Williams Niemmi George Worthington Mills Dennis Bridge Beattie Crouch etc
Three of the legends also played for Pompey without achieving much.
Unfortunately in the last ten years we have not had many very good players and that is probably the main reason we find ourselves in League 1
It just shows you that your judgement is probably suspect if you think that many footballers have a loyalty to a particular club.
It is just a job to them no emotion like you have for SFC
I thought you were were one of the most realistic and sensible posters until administration when you seemed to have a problem with Mr Fry.
Now you are a fan of ML just because he has money . I fully expect he will be good for SFC but as yet that is not guaranteed because we have no real idea of his plans for the future and all his team has done is appoint an out of work manager who recently failed at another club although there is no reason that he will fail with us
I think it is unbelievable the rubbish being put forward on this thread
Niemmi can earn a living where ever he wants without getting permission from people on here.
It is possible that the new regime think promotion is impossible this year and just want the team to consolidate but I would expect a few players to be signed in the coming weeks
He is not always in the bookshop but when I have met him there I find him very pleasant and we have interesting conversations regarding our football teams
Gobern has Saints best chance of the night as Pulis heads a neat ball through, however, the Boro keeper gets down quick to save well
