Yes I agree but is this a one off or are we going to buy our way out of League 1 like Notts County are doing in League 2. If they get to League 1 and we are still there it may mean there is one promotion spot less which concerns me a bit

Are you completely sure that every SFC signing in Lowe's time was carried out by him with no input from anybody else? I thought there was a number of people involved in choosing players including the scout. That method seems better than the Burley approach where any old pro was taken on especially if he knew George. I just want a method where we get in decent players appropriate for the league we are in something which has happened rarely in the last few years. Lambert seems a good signing and lets hope we can say the same about Harding and Murty if he remains fit.

Why ? We have no idea of the aspirations of the new owner except they want to get to Premiership like every other club.

This is a forum I believe where people can express their opinions we all have differing views just accept that. The idea of MLT/KK running the club did not appear to be realistic to me unfortunately.

The trouble is that other people cannot have an opinion although MLT was the most skilful player I feel that Ball and Paine were better allround footballers who achieved more in no way am I critising MLT as a player.

Antonio Valencia hasn't seen that much of the ball on the right recently but he seems to have the beating of Birmingham full-back Gregory Vignal down that flank. Zidane and Ronaldinho are slightly different people I would have thought playing in World Cup Finals and winning and for some of the biggest teams in the world compared with MLT who played for a lowly rated Premiership Club. If MLT had had a career like those mentioned I would not be commenting

Thats right take Ricky Lambert he has moved for money and to a bigger club we think it is great a Bristol Rovers supporter probably thinks the opposite. I hope other players have Lambert's attitude rather than MLT's other wise we wont get in any new players

I think MLT has been given hero status because he did not have the ambition to move on. I dont think that a lack of ambition is a bad thing but we will never know how good he really was and what honours he could have won
