Not many comedians can mix stand-up and sketches in the same show and I get the feeling that Frankie Boyle is trying to be like Dave Allen, but Dave Allen could do it without the vulgarity and audience bullying that Frankie Boyle relies on.

I've noticed that it is a bit faster especially when processing the other results that seemed to take an age on FM2010 for some reason.

Which is great unless you get stuck behind the old biddy who knows the checkout girl. "Oh I haven't seen you for three weeks!" Great now I've got to wait whilst you tell her all about your latest hospital appointment in startling detail, and who has died and and have you seen so and so, then just when you think it's over, out come the coupons. Yes the wad of death! Dozens of crumpled dog-eared money-off vouchers that now won't scan, so now we have to wait for the supervisor(who is already dealing with a similar problem on another checkout) to come over, attempt to scan said voucher and then give up, thus thwarting our aged friend from getting 2 pence off of a packet of wotsits! (This post was based on a true story!)

what ferks me off is that the people who watch these soaps(mainly women to be fair) moan about the amount of football on BBC & ITV yet I'm sure if you added up the amount of hours dedicated to both it would be at least 75% soaps!

Stadium built on top of a Saxon burial ground, need I say more! Maybe we should get that white witch back that WGS employed when he took over!

Yeah shocking, all they've done is made the plackett bigger changed the collar and there seems to be some sort of airtex material sewn on where the name goes!

After reading a book on Richard Burton, Richard Harris and Oliver Reed I deceided to re-watch some of there films. The Cassandra Crossing (Harris) An absolute bore and that scene with Ann Turkel singing makes me want to puncture my own ear drums with an ice pick! 2/10 Cromwell (Harris) Much better and Alec Guinness is excellent as Charles I. 6/10 Juggernaut (Harris) The only two things that are good about this is the fact that the opening was filmed at Southampton docks, and Roy Kinnear's performance. 5/10 Where Eagles Dare (Burton) Eastwood and Burton in the same film, lovely! One of my favourite films of all time, and apparently Alastair Mclean laid Burton out with one punch at the post production party!!! 10/10 The Medusa Touch (Burton) A great film that I'm surprised hasn't been touted for a remake. 8/10 The Three Musketeers (Reed) Another all time classic with an all star cast, with Reed cast perfectly as the boozing, brawling Athos. 9/10 Hoping to watch some more soon, like The Wild Geese and The Desert Rats.

Hellraisers by Robert Sellers, a biography of those hard drinking womanising great actors, Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole and Oliver Reed. A great read, some of their antics make for some great stories, there is no one in the film industry today that can compare to these heavyweight boozers!

If you want an good outside bet for League 2 then go for Shrewsbury. Can't believe they were 16/1 when I did my bet a couple of weeks ago. I always do a win yankee that way you get a payout if you only get 2 or 3 out of 4. Last year I got £68 return for a £2.20 bet having picked Norwich, Notts County and Inverness, only WBA let me down otherwise I would have got over £600. This season I have gone for Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Saints and Shrewsbury with a £4.40 bet.
