Round Ireland with a fridge. Comedian Tony Hawks is bet £100 that he can't hitchhike around Ireland(southern not northern) in a month whilst carrying a fridge. Only a few chapters in at the mo but so far an excellent read and laugh aloud funny in places.

Even if we do get knocked out in the group stages, at least we got there!
-
Do you really need an answer to that question?

Made the mistake of watching the cup preview show on ITV4 actually expecting a piece on our match considering they are showing it live. Hardly a ****ing mention! Oh and they spent 6 or 7 minutes talking to Lou Macari about Man United's finals of the 70's!!! What has that got to do with this season's fifth round considering they are not actually in it FFS! ITV really are cr@p when it comes to football coverage I mean it's a complete joke!

Had to laugh at Matt Smith's comment at the end, "This could be the turning point in their season!" Yeah Matt if their next game against Sunderland yields gate recipts of over £80million pounds they're saved!

Arsenal away, or failing that Ipswich at home and a chance for revenge on Roy Keane.

don't you mean comatose dwarf? -
Don't they always kick-off in front of an empty stadium? Anyway looks like they are going down the pitch invasion route. Should be an interesting watch on Wednesday!
-
I have just received exclusive footage of the new tune they will be running out to before the next home game!

I subscibe to WSC and normally it is a good read, but I felt very annoyed at this article. Like someone said there was no background work done at all, nothing about the new owners. It was just plain nit-picking imo. I have written some articles about Saints in the past that have been rejected by the editor yet that pile of **** gets printed!

Can't see it anywhere but it could happen as they would want to get the new man in before the transfer window opens. Benitez should get the bullet if they lose to the skates. Liverpool are playing sh*t and are actually managing to make the skates look good.

The fact that the kick-off is now 7pm means that it won't be such a mad dash to the station afterwards.

That train goes to Clapham junction, where you can get the Southampton train from and so avoiding using the underground, also the 12pm service from southamton stops there allowing you to catch the 13:38 to Bletchley arriving at 14:55. £39.70 return according to the trainline.com
-
I got my train tickets from the trainline.com for £15 buying advance singles. Leaves southampton at 10:10 change at Warminster(only 11 minutes to spare so hopefully won't be late getting to Warminster) then arrive in Exeter at 13:29 that cost £8.50 Coming back get the 18:02 from Exeter change at Westbury(a 50 minute wait but there's a pub 200 yards up the road!) arrive back in Southampton at 21:02. That cost £6.50. There's a £1 booking fee and use a debit card or you will pay a fee for using a credit card. Plus in Exeter you can get another train to the station by the ground, shouldn't cost more than a couple of quid. :smt040

and I heard him on five live a couple of weeks ago going on about how great Fratton Park is for atmosphere and how great the skates fans are. Sorry but has he actually been there when they've not been playing AC Milan or one of the big 4 Prem sides. When they're playing Wigan and are losing it's like a ******* library. He's a c**t! Others I don't like are Alan Smith, he's the new Trevor Brooking, always sits on the fence and never says anything controversial. Gary Birtles when he is co-commentating on Football League games, god that man is depressing to listen to. David Pleat always fecks me off and anyone else employed by ITV except Gabriel Clarke. And of course Lawrenson.

Forgot, Everton for the 84 semi-final and West Ham and Millwall for the ever present threat of violence and any club that Steve Claridge has played for!
-
Poopey - obviously Reading - feck off back to league 1 where you belong. Bolton and Wigan - for being ****ant clubs with no fans. Man U. - Obnoxious fans, manager and players. Spurs - Same as above plus Veneables. Watford - For always playing the long ball game and thrashing us. Newcastle and Sunderland - Just because you have a big stadium doesn't make you a big club! Dirty Leeds - Their fans are ****s and ffs stop going on about the Revie years! Cardiff - Welsh chav scum. Derby County - Cheating bastards! Plymouth - (see Reading) Ipswich - Roy Keane Charlton - Just what is their problem with us?
-
Actually there is, but if your in an area with a good signal then an ordinary aerial will suffice, otherwise you will need a wideband high gains aerial that will have two reflectors and more antenna than a normal one.
-
Paradox, as I missed the first episode I watched it on iplayer and if there is an award for the worst dialogue in a TV drama series then this is going to win hands down! I just wish I could travel back in time so I don't have to watch it in the first place. I see the budget cuts at the beeb are having no effect on the quality of their drama.
