Yes, they have no reason to sack them. People wonder why this country is heading down the pan and it is partly due to this attitude that we should support the multi-million pound company against the average working person. Swannymere = slave to the corporate world.

I hope they pay attention to fans that go to games, rather than those that whinge on the internet. Regardless of recent events, the internet contains an imbalance of more whingers than fans that cough up.

Really looking forward to the two climbs of the Tormalet, just which the stage finish at it's summit was the one including the Col D'Aspin. Never mind. Must disagree with you on the TTT. I've never liked it. Top riders on a lesser team can be out of Le Tour purely on that one stage. There is, obviously, a team aspect - but I think the TTT takes it too far. Can't wait for it to start, mind!

Good old Mick Channon.

Real Ale "festival" at Bath races this evening, so plenty of that but not sure on the curry front. Good chance at 0 winners, though.

Selections for high quality meeting at Bath this evening: 6.25 Kojak 6.55 Tom Folan 7.30 Secret Witness 8.00 Sunny Future (Aestival clear fav but not worth backing at short odds) 8.35 Act Three 9.05 Aattash (Channon)

Going to Bath races this evening. Need to make some selections!

In new Coral Bath today. Free bets galore. Got £40 on free bet vouchers on my 30 minute lunch break. And Coral wallet. Hurrah. Also, he is backing Rumoush in Oaks.

Youmzain only ever seems to run well in the Arc. Two very disappointing performances recently. Saw Fame and Glory's last run at the Curragh and very impressive, difficult to see past him. Agree with Hatch for the Oaks. After the disappointment of Cape Blanco withdrawing and my ante-post bet tits up, I am going to back Bullet Train (8/1 Corals) in the Derby.

Why I will now be watching ITV world cup coverage
bungle replied to hypochondriac's topic in General Sports
Why do people think they have a choice? The games are either on BBC or ITV, but not both (the only exception I believe being if England reach semi-finals or final) - so if you want to watch a game you have to watch it on the channel it is on. I just won't watch any of it. -
Yes, police confirm they've found his body in the woods with a gun nearby. People allowed back outside now.

Fiver says you have forgotten who they are by Tuesday week.

Excellent race, really exciting. IndyCar is probably the most exciting open-wheel series out there at the moment. Well done to Dario, and another Brit Dan Wheldon 2nd again.
-
Thanks for the obvious double though. All wins are good wins!

Defending the racist again I see.

Got on Cape Blanco in Derby this morning at 12/1. Five minutes later at St Nicholas Abbey out of race. Now Cape Blanco 7/1. Good skills. Will lose, obviously.

Went on Sunday for first time this season. Chris Wood really impressive with ball, another promising youngster. Shaun Ervine looks to be at the top of his game at the moment. Cork still very useful with the bat - it was his late knock that took the game away from Scotland. New stands coming along nicely. An enjoyable day at the Rose Bowl.

In that case, instead of being a racist who whinges on the internet without fully comprehending things, why don't you write to the BBC and ask why their independent programme decided to invite Alistair Campbell specifically to speak for Labour? The BBC invite the guests, the parties don't get to decide. Do you understand that? Racist.
-
Er, the BBC pick who to invite, not the other way around. Edit: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8709930.stm In fact, the Tories bottled it.

Bangladesh win toss and put England into bat. Eoin Morgan gets to play, and Bresnan, Anderson and Finn make up the seam attack. Cook already out!
