  1. Born in Jersey. I am British. English scum.
  2. Rochdale and Dag & Red the only two I haven't been to, but also looking forward to doing Hartlepool on a Saturday. Wonder how many we'll take to Carlisle this season - will probably be fewer than last. I'll be there, though. Missing Sheff Wed and Yeovil due to holiday to US of A.
  3. Isn't it only Wimbledon that doesn't have the 5th set tiebreak? I'm not much into tennis, but has to be said this match is rather amazing. Don't need nobs like Ponty around.
  4. Salisbury 3.15 Avon River 4.55 Sparkling Smile I note Mark Prescott's Comedy Act is running in the 3.50, but stepping up in distance. Any thoughts?
  5. At 5pm you'll be able to shave it off, so I wouldn't worry too much.
  6. I'm not sure John B understands what a coalition is.
  7. Disappointingly next season's fixtures haven't thrown up an epic like Hartlepool away on a Tuesday. Still, mostly looking forward to Rochdale, Dagenham & Redbridge, a Saturday in Hartlepool and the obligatory trip to Carlisle.

    ABE's

It's for music with black origins. Therefore, you can be of any ethnic background, but if you perform music which has a black origin, then you qualify. I'm sure there is a recent example of this someone can point out.
  9. Stayed up until 2am watching it. Excellent golf. McDowell very calm under pressure, hit fairways and greens and did the job. Others, other than Lavret, all made a big mistake somewhere in their round. Am now tired.
  10. 5 losers and then Timepiece in the last, which was my biggest bet and got at 8/1, so plenty of profit! Off to Poland for next 4 days, so a small bet on Kasbah Bliss in the Gold Cup is my final bet.
  11. Excellent. My flight is at 10.15. I will be on the internet at the airport! :vuvu:
  12. All depends on how you make the tea, doesn't it really. If you are making your tea in a pot then it makes absolutely no difference when you put the milk in the cup. If you are making your tea in the mug, then you must brew the tea to desired strength first, take out tea bag and then add milk.
  13. Yeh, it was at the Curragh - very good performance. I would have backed it, but couldn't turn down the 8/1 e/w on D1ck Turpin which seemed guaranteed to come in (and did).
  14. Selections for today: 2.30 Free Judgment 3.05 Alsace Lorraine - 14/1 on the nose at Paddypower 3.50 Twice Over 4.25 Fareer e/w (30 runners in this race, absolute lottery – but has won in a big field at Ascot before) 5.00 Sydney Arms e/w (big field and only 5f. Hannon/Hughes going well and won in big field before) - 22/1 at Paddypower, most others giving 14-18/1 5.35 Timepiece (might go e/w) (back down to 8f trip which suited in past, but big field) Not sure how I'm going to split the bets up yet.
  15. Only meaningful stats are figure on 30th June (when ST holders lose their seat) and then when season kicks off.
  16. Blast. Picked 3 of the winners, but two of them tied up in doubles. That'll learn me. Still, profit from today so can't complain too much.
  17. Went for Goldikova in the 1st - late call, but won enough so even if other 5 lose I can't be down! Backed Som Tala (Channon!!) e/w in the 5.00
  18. You need to find a good proxy server thing - or whatever the IT people call it.
  19. Now also done another e/w double: 4.25 Zoffany 5.35 Marine Commando
  20. How is D1ck Turpin available at 8/1???!!!! First bet of day: e/w double 3.05 Equiano 3.50 D1ck Turpin
  21. 59-28 now.
  22. Another Ireland try! Hatch jinxed it.
  23. Ireland try! What's your over/under?
