Oh well, some profit for today as biggest bet on Kuanyao.

Almost all signings for all sides are made during July, and after clubs start pre-season training. The only thing to worry about is alpine's sanity.
-
Surely alpine_saint isn't wrong AGAIN?!

Of course, an excellent point - although that game was brought forward. A well deserved away win, as you say. Hopefully the British and Irish teams will perform just as well.

The King is dead. Long live the King. RIP the internet persona that was Wiltshire Saint. You will be missed. Yet a known racist remains.

That's right, it's the most exciting part of the season - the first day! The 1st Qualifying Round of the Europa league gets underway across Europe this evening, marking the beginning of the 2010/11 season. Excellent stuff. British and Irish interest in this round is as follows: Llanelli are at home to FK Tauras of Lithuania. Port Talbot Town travel to Finland to play TPS Turku Dundalk go to Luxembourg to take on CS Gravenmacher Portadown are at home to FK Skonto KR Reykjavik v Glentoran in the Icelandic capital. Best of luck to them all.

Yeh, enjoyed it. There were certainly a few different lines and overtaking inside and outside. Will definitely go again. -

Guinea, Ethopia and Madagascar will now fancy their chances of getting to Cup of Nations 2012. Their 1st Qualifying Group will be severely weakened without the Super Eagles. -
...by their President. For not being good enough! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8777118.stm Shame for the Super Eagles. If the president manages to get away with this then FIFA will stop them playing for a lot longer I would have thought.

Any thoughts on the Coral Eclipse on Saturday? Dar Re Mi obviously won a big race last time out, but dropping down in distance, will it affect? 9/4 on Twice Over seems a good gamble to me.

Was probably a streetlight.

Pre-season Friendly vs. FC Sochaux-Montbéliard - 17th July

Can see both points of view. Having been on pre-season tours in the past they are great fun and really enjoyable. However, if I was manager of a team taking them on a pre-season training week with a couple of early fixtures, I probably wouldn't want any fans there. -

Bath is pretty awesome. Been living here for 3 years and really enjoy it. Just got a job in Bristol, but going to remain living in Bath. Can't say much about the university, other than, yes, it is at the top of a rather big hill. The bus service is pretty good (runs until 3am - two different companies) although it is quite expensive (not so bad if you buy a ticket for the whole term). Bath is obviously quieter than Bristol in terms of nightlife etc, but depends on your daughter what she wants from the place she lives. I went to uni in Aberystwyth - probably one of the least typical uni experiences you can have.

Any Saints fan who says Redc*nt isn't a Saints fan. I turned over and watched the cricket when he was speaking yesterday. -
I don't think they made tablets which stopped people from being racists?!

They are down in NL now aren't they? I've not seen a NL match yet, so no idea how good the racing would be. From watching junior matches at Poole after the EL, I get the feeling the youngsters struggle to overtake (not that I'm volunteering to have a go!!). Heard lots of good things about Somerset track - so really looking forward to it. Should have gone before now, really. -
Pub opens at 9. HTH.

Going to Somerset v Birmingham in the PL KOC tonight. Not been to the Oak Tree Arena before, so looking forward to it - heard the racing there is supposed to be good. -
What is the point of this thread? More attention seeking?
