I didn't watch but 50% seem encouraged the other 50% annoyed. Why is this?

Same old Saints of the last 3 years then...

Fear we'll be bottom half. Not enough goals in us, suspect centerbacks, suspect goalkeeping. Hope I'm spectacularly wrong.

Scoring goals feel like a major concern, especially if someone plays a loose pass when we are passing around our own box. Hope we can remedy this because dominating possession and losing 1-0 is absolutely galling.

I'm hoping for the best this season. I like the more attacking look we have but the passing around our 18 yard box is suicide with this team. In the matches that matter, most are won and lost on just a few crucial moments. Giving away cheap goals can be enough to destroy any momentum, confidence etc and completely change games.

Hard to see but surely a foul on the edge of the box by Bournemouth?

KWP has been awful for quite some time. I was hoping someone would take him off our hands.

A goalkeeper who can keep goal is an absolute priority if we want to be successful this season. Get it done Saints. Don't regret it like the striker fiasco last season!

If the tactic is to win games 3-2 we've got to get a lot better at creating and finishing chances. No matter how much we pass around at the back to keep possession is going to help if we can't even threaten the oppo net let alone score a goal. Hope we have a playmaker and a striker on the way...
