I live near Ottawa so I have been to see the Senators quite a few times, can't beat the playoffs, the atmosphere is amazing. Who are you going to see? Frolunde? Ice Hockey is a pretty simple game, but fast and exciting. Do a quick google search for terms such as "icing", "offside" and "powerplay" and you will understand why the whistle gets blown and there is a stoppage in play. Hope you have a great time...
