  1. I don't agree with this. Since Nick Illingsworth has been in charge the Trust hasn't been a body of Saints fans, It's been a vehicle for Nick to present his personal opinions as the opinions of the masses. The new owners need to realise that when the Trust makes a statement it's not it's miniscule membership speaking, it's Nick speaking for Nick.
  2. Falling gate recepits due to Rupert Lowe.
  3. Cheers. There's not animosity with my neighbour and nor do i hope there will be, but i think it prudent to be prepared for a hedge war. He's a lazy bastard and has let his side of the hedge get wide so i will suggest he splits the hedge and put's the fence against it - a fair compromise imo.
  4. Given the divisions in the fanbase for a good many years the new owners number 1 priority should be to make the right judgements to create and maintain unity. They will need fans through the turnstiles and everyone pulling in the same direction. To this end what mistakes should be learnt from and not repeated? I would advise the new owners to distance themselves from the Saints Trust. Look at how many members the Saints Trust has and don't think they are an organisation that represents Saints fans. The Trust has a pathetic membership level and the new owners need to realise this is because it's an unpopular organisation.
  5. I don't like the Trust as a principle, i don't the like the Trust as a format, and i most certainly would never give money to add weight to nick Illingsworths opinions.
  6. I said "In your dreams" so how is your reply applicable?
  7. I'd rather stick rusty nails in my eyes.
  8. In your dreams.
  9. Still no Woopert or "Mike". Now there's a surprise.
  10. I completely agree. Anything involving the Saints Trust i'd avoid like the plague.

I can recomend Chub, caught and cooked one as kid. It was very nice.
  12. I never heard Wilde say anything when he was in a position of authority at Saints so it's not surprising he's quiet now.
  13. My next door neighbour wants to pull up the adjoining hedge and replace it with a fence. The hedge is on his deeds. The hedge has been there for over 30 years. I don't want it pulling up. Is he allowed to do it? I will be speaking to a solicitor if we cannot resolve this ammicably, but thought i'd just ask on here first.
  14. If relegation is our destiny i wouldn't mind us losing to Burnley and being relegated on Saturday. I'm travelling wiht 5 Forest mates and sitting in the mainstand so at least if i know we're down i'll havew had a week to get used to it and can enjoy the game in a "pre-season friendly" kind of way. That said knowing Saints and they will probably beat Burnley only to lose in the last minute against Forest - just to spoil my **** up down the pub.
  15. I remember leaving that game delighted, but in the back of my mind knowing it meant the return of Lowe. History has shown i was right to feel as i did.
  16. I can't see many of those travelling up to Nottingham the next day attending this event.
  17. Fair play, when it's ready i'll send you cheque for £10.
  18. Jonah your judgement has been shown to be flawed on financial matters so it's reasonable to suggest your judgement is flawed per se.
  19. I don't. Lowe is finished and i think that's why he waited a week before putting us into administration. A bit like a spoilt brat who takes his ball home.
  20. And they are right. He is a manager destined for the top level. Leon and lawrie saw it, so do the majority of Saints fans. Only the few displaced Lowe supporters cannot see it and to be honest their judgement has been proved to be poor.
  21. No, he's definitely an underated manager. He has a presence about him and that'll stand him in good stead. He'll be a Premiership manager soon enough.
  22. Lowe won't be coming back for a third time. He knows the games up for him at Saints.
  23. You have to look at the history of G20 demonstrations. This is a hardcore of organised anarchists that operate on a global scale. They are intent on vandalism and violence. They also desecrated the Cenotaph with grafiti a few years back. The police were out to stop a repeat. That is not to say the special riot section aren't thugs in uniform - they clearly are, that is why they are employed in that position. If lessons are to be learnt i'm sure the main one will be to be a little more discrete and drag miscreants away from prying eyes before "enforcing the law" in future.
  24. For what it's worth i think if we are relegated we won't see the points deduction, but if we stay up we will. Why? Because Norwich have a director on the Football Leagues panel and he'll force it through to save his own club the drop.
  25. I'm all for pulling out of the EU human rights agreement so i guess you could say me and Miss Chakrabarti don't see eye to eye, but much like Cherie Blair i'm not sure how much she believes in out of principle and how much she believes in for financial reasons.
