  1. The Trust have been on the list for some time. I was right about Rupert Lowe and i'm right about them.

Here's a song she did on a charity cd in 1999... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5ETPG26ALE and another http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ai27pvt-PY&feature=related She is good.
  3. I'm glad someone enjoyed it. Having parked at the Doncaster football car park it then transpired there was just one "hungry horse" type pub. Leaves the pub and where the **** is the ground? "just follow the lake". FFS about 1 mile later after trudging round some mucky old gravel pit you arrive at the stadium where there's no pubs. What a crap away day.
  4. The bit where it says "it will seek to incorporate in its long term business plan to develop new mainland and possibly water borne links to the stadium in consultation with transport operators and local authority bodies" is priceless. So who will water borne links serve? Presumably unless you live on or near the itchen you won't be able to catch the Saints Trust Ferry, or will they be building a new marina and dredging the river for the Isle of Wight Ferry to drop fans off? Perhaps i'm underestimating the extent of the plans and the Trust will be building canals like venice complete with gondolas to transport fans from all over the city.
  5. Not seen any bats, but there's a family of great crested newts that live under it, will this help?
  6. That is one of the funniest things i've ever read.
  7. OMG, this is comedy gold. So they've gone from quiz nights to saving the planet in 12 months. You couldn't make it up.
  8. Are you not forgetting. 3. Take a mod on holiday to Sweden.
  9. lol, so it's going to have a new Labour makeover. No thanks. Just let it die.
  10. Influence for the Saints Trust. No thanks.
  11. The best way to save the planet is to cut down the rainforests and to promote (by over farming) desertification in sub Saharan Africa. By doing this the barren land will deflect the suns rays back in to space (in the same way as the polar ice caps deflect the suns rays). This will result in the global temperature cooling.
  12. £16.08 better off.
  13. easy enough - 1938.
  14. 1. None of them are similar 2. Dunno. 3. 1/16 4. It's impossible to determine. 5. stock.

I prefer contempory ballet to musicals.
  16. I find the thought of a fotb horrendous. Essentially you'd have a fan represnting himself and his mates because of confidentiality clauses. No minutes and no accountability. I said at the time the Trust was formed i would have no problem if the fotb only took part in minuted meetings and voted in areas where the membership has been balloted, but they would not commit. Let's assume Nick Illingsworth was the fotb - would you wanting him speaking and voting on your behalf with his own opinions?
  17. Oldknow was appointed by Mike Wilde and was acting on behalf of Mike Wilde. I warned the Saints Trust about how they were being used, but they were blinkered by a lust for power. Nothing has changed from that day to this. The Trust isn't about respresenting fans, it's about those on the top table wanting to build a dictatorial empire. You only have to look at how the Trust hides it's true membership figure and how Nick Illingsworth speaks through the Trust with his own opinions to see that i'm correct.
  18. I wonder if they'll have quiz night with the winner getting the job.
  19. For that reason i would want nothing to do with it.
  20. If the said hedge was leylandii i'd have no problem with it being removed, but the adjoing hedge is a nice beech hedge and has not been neglected. It's about 5 foot high, level and squared at the top.
  21. Either through convenience or a through not paying attention you miss the other point i regularly made about administration being inevitable. IT HAD TO HAPPEN. Therefore, and provinding there is a club post administration, we are currently on the cusp of a new beginning. I have no doubts there is more than one party who can buy Saints. I have no doubts there will be new owners in place within 2 weeks. In years to come we will look back at the collapse of the PLC and see it as the turning point - the day SFC reversed the years of decline. You might not see it, but when i'm proved right will you have the integrity to acknowledge i was right all along?
  22. Let's zoom back a few years and look at "Mike" COYR's Wilde. He is albout spin and trying to take advantage of situations - but his strategy is all about the "now" and he couldn't forsee how his actions would affect the "future". I'm simply saying that the new owners should look at the Saints Trusts membership level (providing they can get a real figure!) and weigh this against the real number of supporters. It's completely fair to state that the Trust is a fringe group and to this end the new management should respect them, but not show them respect to the extent of thinking they represent Saints fans. "Mike" used both the Saints Trust and Keith (S4E) and this damaged all concerned. The new board must recognise the division "Mike" managed to create and learn from his mistakes.
  23. I will not donate for these same reasons. Donating to pay these players (who are wealthy young men) is akin to robbing from the poor to give to the rich. This is not a worthy cause for me personally.
  24. I agree he has done a lot of fund raising, but i also do think he should donate £1,000+ and get his name on "the list".
