  1. I don't know about SISA but the Trust claim to have 838 members on their website, but have about 400 in reality, although Nick claims it's over 1000 and those who no longer want to be members are automatically enrolled as a member for life! I believe SISA operate the same system.
  2. Well i've recently learned that Nick Illingsworth is counting my cancelled membership as an actual member. I don't want my ex-membership giving weight to this rotten supporters group. When i left i made it clear i didn't want to be associated with The Trust. So of the literally thousands of members they claim to have less than 50% are real members. This is not acceptable in my book and only serves to illustrate that the Trust is not democratic.
  3. Jim Magilton is available and i'm sure he'd be hungry to get back in the same division as Ipswich.
  4. I disagree completely. The Trust has such a bad name and reputation that involving yourself with it is shooting yourself in the foot. Supporting SOS now equates to supporting the Saints Trust and i would never do that. It's all very well trying to re-invent the Trust but it'll still be the same ill thought out Socialist concept. So you are now in effect The Saints Trust.
  5. You just have to look at how the Saints Trust has been run from day one, and how the Ted Bates statue fiasco panned out, to see what a disaster it would be if the super fan clique were allowed anywhere near the club.
  6. I sincerely hope Ruperts whole world falls apart around him.
  7. I always knew we would be. I hope that once the dust has settled we can get back to being a normal club and the Trust are allowed to die.
  8. Oh no, does this mean Nick Illingsworth and his comrades won't be taking over?
  9. I'm not disputing this point, but it's a bit strange if they could effectively ban us from the FL if we dared to appeal. If they can do this i'd tread carefully, but if they can't we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Our new owners (esp if two consortiums combine) will have a few quid so i say let's get some good lawyers and make Mawhinney squirm.
  10. Welldone Joanna, been doing a few googles i see.
  11. Is that bloke in your avatar the old man who used to rule the Dell car park?
  12. Those figures are par for the course. They are too high, but that's the price you have to pay to keep the players living in the lap of luxury. Until there's a major shift accross the board to limit player wages nothing can change.
  13. As decisive as ever i see.
  14. I must admit i don't reads 19C's posts but thanks for drawing this comment to my attention. Le Tissier is a legend and no Saints fan would ever slag him off. 19C hang your head in shame.
  15. Mate my works has cancelled overtime since Christmas so like many others charity starts at home.
  16. I hear the price of scrap bronze is quite high.
  17. I'll be ****ed if i'm going to travel over 100 miles to a meaningless game.
  18. Lowe is as popular as ever i see. LOL.
  19. Pots and kettles spring to mind.
  20. Sack him. We couldn't do much worse than him if we tried.
  21. That'd be my take on it.
  22. Robbie you must remember than Jonah is an expert on financial matters. Somehow there must have been a freak cosmic imbalance in the beta correlation that caused Saints to go bust when the share price was on the verge of spiking. The planets move in mysterious ways and even the most learned astronomer gets it wrong sometimes.
  23. Beggars can't be chooser and all that, but i do hope there won't be clashes of personalities like we've seen for the past few years. SFC needs to be put first.
  24. That is positive news.
