I think you're all underestimating the power of Aviva to be honest. If whoever buys the club doesn't meet their terms they just won't let us play at the Stadium. We shall see, no fury is greater than that of a lender scorned. They aren't going to accept 5 million which would be about 20p in the pound, just the same as Barclay's aren't going to accept 800K. We have saleable assets which will get them more and if necessary they'll be liquidated. I've always said that 15 million was absolute minimum and I see no reason to change that.
-
But I thought the consortium who are supposed to be best placed to succeed in their venture were going to get us "an exciting manager who will put bums on seats" don't really think any of the above fit that description.
-
We shall see CB, we shall see. I personally doubt that we'll end up giving Aviva any less than £15 million one way or another. They have us by the bollax and not even administration will change that. They had belt and braces guarantees written in to be sure.

You mean he's really a taxi driver who got the info from a hairdresser. Nuff said, must be true.
-
The salient point probably being that he's been looking in these last 2 years and has finally decided that whatever you may say someone will take it seriously and not consider you as a rank idiot. Having mastered this fact it's easy to overcome an eventual stage fright and take the plunge for that all important first post.

Perhaps it was more dramatic this way and more beneficial to the club in the long run.

He can say it 100001 times but some just won't believe it anyway. -

And why does it matter, club invites visiting past chairrmen to it's boardroom shocker. It's a mark of respect I presume, only we don't rate them, Forest must love them, especially if they stay up because we went down eh. -
It's when the season ends, whether that's after our last game, the last game in the Prem or after the Cup final I couldn't say. Clubs aren't going to fall over themselves to give us money next Monday you know. They will wait and see and wait and see some more.

Lallana possibly going for £5m, which is nice.

now perhaps but a couple of weeks back it wasn't the case. I just can't see anyone taking him on at his asking price, unless of course he has a relegation clause in his contract with us but I very much doubt that. frightening for any new buyer really, looking into the books and seeing that we have to give that mid-range CCC "star" 10/12 K a week for another year if we can't offload him to some other bunch of suckers. -
He is apparently one of her nephews, if what he says is to be believed and why shouldn't it be. She has 2 brothers and a sister I think.

Been there, got that.

I believe that might have been the case anyway, not concerning Lallana though. No doubt Watford told us where we could stick our 1 million price tag for Rasiak. -

A lot of you seem to have gone pie-eyed over this lad,who by the way is 21 in a couple of weeks. Compare him to say Ashley Young who's about 23 and has 200 odd first team games on his counter at Villa with 40 or so goals to boot. He isn't worth 5 million and we'll be lucky to get 1.5 from some daft idiot of a manager. Then we have to give Bournemouth a chunk, probably them spreading the silly price rumours to get the ball rolling. -
I remain sceptic all the same.
