Allied to the 2 we missed against Watford.
-
What again, how many is that we've missed this season, more than we've scored I bet.
-
It doesn't change much except that it's just us, norwich and forest now as things stand.

with a Barnsley-Plymouth kick about on the last day where a draw suits everybody concerned.. -

Stopped when we went into admin and lost to Charlton in a 3 day spell. Just waiting for next season now. -

It's not about the mathematical calculations, I don't think 50 points will be enough to stay up. -

makes little difference, 50 points won't be enough anyway and we can't get any more than that. Still beating Burnley would be a good result anyway. -
Wheel him in, he's about as straight up and down as all the owners/chairmen of the top Prem clubs. Football is not the Women's Institute, it's a business where wheeling and dealing and dodgy doing are the rule rather than the exception. If the blokes got the money it takes he's OK by me.If you want a Mother Theresa try somewhere down in Blue Square. Give me a Ghengis Khan type any day.

Miraculous recovery from the same sort of injury as the one Thomas hasn't fully recovered from apparently. Dodgy doos methinks. Either you're out for the season or you ain't if he wasn't why say he was, hope we don't cause him permanent damage by playing him too soon, like we did with Pahars to name but one of many. We're down anyway, the Forest result means we'll be on -10 next season anyway so why risk Gillett when we could put Molyneux in for all it matters.
-
As I said yesterday 50 points is by no means a guarantee of finishing higher than the bottom 3.
-
Great no Skacel, what's that about then?
-
Don't know and don't care, a severe disappointment this season. I would rather have had whatever we could have got for him,Lallana,Skacel,BWP,Dyer,Euell and Saganowski in January. Be it just a million for all of them. The team wouldn't have been much worse, we'd probably have gotten relegated anyway but we wouldn't be in administration and we wouldn't be starting in League 1 on -10
-
2 wins doesn't mean we avoid relegation at all. In fact we could win 2 and still have a 50% chance (or so) of going down. 50 points may come up short.
-
We will get tonked, Burnley are a very good side; Chris Eagles will be our undoing. Man U reject but a bloody good one.The sort of player we should have been looking at instead of wasting all that money on..well you know who I mean.

Because they thought it was a matter for law and lawyers and sharp wangling. The Football League is the epitomy of Old England, all that counts for nothing. It's like joining some elite golf club, you can be the flashest, richest, most worthy guy but if your wife farts at the ladies luncheon you get blackballed, no question about it.

Barclay's screw up in their assessment and get shafted ?? Love it, made my day. Where is OBS lately, perhaps his revered employers have told him to STFU.
-
I think if you look at my postings on A-day you'll see that I was in no doubt whatsoever that we would get-10. I even didn't travel over for the Charlton game because of it, just bought my ticket and gave it a miss .'game for nothing' was my appraisal I think.
-
I believe at least one of the old lags will be lurking in those two candidate consortia. Crouch is my favourite for that role. He just won't leave it alone. looking forward to next season though -10 is nothing.
-
Our best ploy is to appeal pleading 'exceptional circumstances' ie our players were a lot crappier than we first thought.

they could have asked me, what'smore I wouldn't have charged them £2000 an hour for listening to their problem and giving advice.

Burnley Bucket collection, how many volunteers.

Give a little bit to the government as well, very patriotic. But it's better than giving direct, someone will get to see the game who might not have done otherwise. Pity we waited until the end of the season. -
And as the old adage says Cheaters never Prosper. Well they do but not as far as the Football League is concerned. The Football League is enrooted in old England, fair play, respect for the other chap, it's the taking part that counts etc, Trickery and Trumpery are always sanctioned in Old England, although under New Labour Anything Goes is more appropriate.

Yes but I'll send him my 50p directly. -
Strange, they're supposed to be pro football administrators and yet it was obvious to me, a science wallah, that we'd get -10. I just can't see how they came to that conclusion. The League ALWAYS deducts points because they are absolutely against financial and legal jiggery pokery by Oright Tonys from Basildon and their cohorts. The club created the debts ,the PLC assumed them, if you can't see that you need locking up in Moorgreen or something.
