In fact jelly babies and jelly beans are an excellent source of energy. They're made from glucose syrup rather than raw sugar.Ask any fairly serious athlete about the energy effects of jelly babies,some scoff them during marathons and stuff. Don't whisper this too loud but they're a better energy source than all those high priced energy drinks. Probably not on the remineralisation front but for energy can't beat JBs.

But this has been our principal problem since day 1 of this season. We just can't score. We've tried about 8 or 9 different strikers and none of them has been able to score regularly. It's not even Rasiak or John or Saga, doesn't matter who it is we can't score. I mean Euell should have buried 2 chances today and missed both,could have been anyone else, they'd have missed as well. We make chances, not one player can convert them on a regular basis. Saga looked good at the start (when he came back) now he's missing them as well. Must be all this getting beaten up in chinese chippies I suppose.

Well then you are wrong.Is Patterson better than McGoldrick? No he isn't. BWP neither so this is our best possible side. McGoldrick is our leading goalscorer so illicio he is the best we have if Saga is already playing.

As far as I know neither Crouch nor Wilde have ever paid players from their own resources.It is an urban myth dispelled by Hone or Dulieu some time back.Idem the "cheque" given to the club by Crouch. We were under "bid condition" and it could not be cashed.
