Le Tissier suspects we'll be relegated before last game of season
Window Cleaner replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Don't really know what Alpine expects MLT to do really. He could rant and rave like Merrington or Armstrong but it wouldn't lead anywhere. He's just an ex-player, who may or may not have a few quid in the bank. (Probably far far less than you'd all imagine) What do you expect him to do about our current situation. He has no qualifications other than that he was an excellent and much loved player. What does Terry Paine "do" about our "situation" or Channon or Ron Davies or Jim Steele? They just get on with their lives and keep stuum about something they can't influence in any way. -
Schneiderlin at right back?? novel, not sure that it would work but you certainly have flair.

I would personally doubt that any tickets will be offered for sale until our continued existence is assured. It would be deemed irresponsible to do so knowing that administration is still a real factor in the equation. If season tickets (next season) are offered for sale I think you can write off administration at any time in the near future.

I'm not sure that Wotte rates Morgan very highly,he'll play Gillett instead.

Not to mention your hero Crouch. He also will lose his 2 million quid. He won't like that one bit, even if he says he doesn't mind, he f*cking well does. It will also remove him from the corridors of power at SFC for ever, same as Wilde; The other one?? not so sure, he has the least to lose and the most to gain.. He has had his saalry for many years, any original investment that he made personally (not so much huh!) has been restored thrice over. He will laugh and say "I told you so". you wanted me out in 2006 and there you had your way, now you've both gotten a 2 million quid jab in the arse and I'm still here, better off than either of you. We must NOT go into administration, good people will lose and the not so good will be AOK as per usual.

Survival Plan - A real vision to save Saints..?

Promote who ? -
Maradonna has his detractors in Argentina, some consider him as a pure waster of god given talent and reproach him his "wild years".

You may well be a chauvinist in some way or other Influenced (name suggests you might be). Maybe not a male chauvinist though. A chauvinist is someone who is fanatically dedicated to some cause or other, named after Nicolas de Chauvin, an imaginary soldier who was the nec plus ultra of patriots. You could say St Robbie and Stanley are Lowe out chauvinists;

She's a journalist, may have written a few books as well.

Watched Tevez play for Argentina against France last night. came on as a sub and immediately went on a charge that created Argentina's second goal. He really is an awesome player, a bit ugly but awesome anyway.

I don't know him personally so I couldn't say. I don't like the image he usually projects if that's what you mean.

I think they even have a "sports" arm. Sport's Law, including an expert on "Football Creditors"

Even I know Hextall's is a very smart city legal outfit. But Rupert has pinkies in many pies, perhaps he was there on other business, but we shouldn't let that get in the way of all out takeover frenzy because that wouldn't be in keeping with our fine record in the matter.

Skacel back in consideration + article on Stern John

Not really lying DD, maximising his talents shall we say. Yer average LB is worth four and tuppence on the transfer market. A flair midfielder who scores goals by the shedload, now you're talking money. -
Sounds a bit like Paul Ince though doesn't it. Managers succeed and fail on a fairly random basis. Some succeed far more than they fail. Players in our time are very difficult to handle, some just can't hack it although their general management skills may be excellent.I've noticed that some who avoid a certain type of player have a higher success rate than others.

Give over Johnny, she must be going on 60 (or more) A little decorum if you please.

Ooh, like they've never heard of Mary 1st or even Elizabeth Ist for that matter. A pair of real pacifists were those 2.

What's the difference between "being arrested" and being "in the nick" then. Nick being in police custody in common parlance.
-
Karen Brady is also a football club chairperson it seems. Isn't she in the nick for something or other again ? Just because you're a lady chairperson it doesn't mean you're above all misdeamours.

All know is that he played at left back at Marseille, again at Panathanaikos and last summer he replaced an injured left back in the Czech Squad. He is a wannabee midfielder, just because he scored a lot of goals at Hearts. He may well be excellent there as well but he was signed at Marseille as a left back, laterale gauche whatever you want to call it. -

There Mr X you are partially wrong. Skacel started out as a left back at Sparta Prague and was used mainly in that role after his transfer to Marseille. When Burley first saw him he was playing --left back-- but Burley decided that he could play anywhere down the left side and used him more as a midfielder at Hearts. However we find trace of him playing left back even at Hearts, under Burley, because there were allegations of him being a cheating bastard whilst playing at left back during a cup game at Hibs.I won't put that link up because Spyware Doctor says it's toxic and I don't want everyone who is less well protected to catch some naughty trojan or other. I believe it was Burley last season who moved him back to left back, which of course didn't please Skacel because he wanted to get into the Czech Euro squad and at left back he had no chance. -
Anyway, although I have no particular beef with Pearson either way, if he had a worse record than Burley, well you all know what I think about Burley don't you.i
