On a slightly different note I've just been listening in to hattrick's podcast and Molina was really laying into Krueger again, he's really upset his applecart for some reason or other. Said some strange things but basically it was about the same as his blog article. Maintains rock solid that the club are looking for buyers as outlined but to hear his tone of voice on Krueger you'd think he'd mugged his Gran or something. Anyway his latest revelation was that the famous Morgan tweet was a calculated gesture by his agent, the transfer request suff...well he said that came from the club and nowhere else. At the end he said Morgan will be sold on deadline day and not a minute before just to p*ss him off. How true any of that is I just couldn't say, Molina sounded angry enough to say anything that sprung into his head.

After earlier games against Schalke and Besiktas I think. Really feel that this season's warm up games are a severe let down. Just don't understand it. Bournemouth are probably the best side we've played so far, surely we could have done a little better, certainly if we want to improve our global standing.

I thought the Inter/Hernandez thing was mooted as a sort of part exchange for Guarin who I've absolutely no idea if Utd want or not. Agent just trying to stir up interest I expect, lot of it about at this time of year.

And have it run as a separate free for all entity I suppose. Can't see it happening really. Don't really understand the item at all. Presume there's no real evidence of any change happening, just more wild speculation. Of course the new owner could be anti academy for some reason or other, then again I'm a couple of quid short for buying the club.

But I'd be right in thinking that today we should have played a decent european side away but it didn't get arranged as planned?

Anyone else wish we had a game today? Pre-season seems at bit meh to me, not much substance and certainly not much in the way of revenues. Everyone seems to have at least a copule of interesting if not decent games except us. Just the one next week.

Doesn't it close at 11 pm on September 1st actually, so you could in theory be there on 1/9 and still get transferred, 31st August being a Sunday and all that. Anyway I expect it will be resolved long before that.

But Inter really want him apparently, on paper he's a far better catch than Taider who they want to be shot of anyway, not that we don't mind you.

Absolutely so why are we tarting about with their cast offs, makes no sense especially if the better of the 2 apparent candidates is asking for a fair old wodge which appears to be the case. He's on about 15K/Wk net at Inter surely we're not offering less than that, how much would that be gross in the UK, roughly?

Don't know anything about him really. They're getting what they want, us well who the fark knows. Koeman commented on Taider, surely he must have some idea what's going on.

So the delays were just about the club asking for more money....can't be about anything else if you believe the Ben Smith version... Ben Smith I know little about though, Romain Molina a bit more.

Absolutely, wish we'd just get it over with, Osvaldo is of no use to us as it is, no-one is going to buy him now so whatever it takes is acceptable, even Scheletto, if he's no good we won't play him and he'll cost less to maintain than an Osvaldo in a state of limbo. However apparently Taider is asking for a big wodge from us and no deal has yet been reached on that front.

2 theories have been proposed. 1) they couldn't stop him because of some contractual arrangement. 2) Koeman thought it good business and wanted it to happen. Which of these is nearer the truth who knows, maybe neither and there's another reason. Whatever it may be the Morgan affair is not over..

Anyway the only thing that we really know is that Taider was in no hurry to leave DC and turn up in Southampton because he appears to be still there with the rest of the Inter players. They're back to Italy during the weekend I think so we may know more from say monday onwards.

But were still negociating over Schelotto apparently and the deal is not yet definitive. We'll soon see, Taider was in the US with the rest of the Inter players, if he turns up at Staplewood any time soon then we'll know.

I got the impression that Taider has turned us down definitively actually, wrong end of stick seized perhaps though.
