If you say so then.

We were hoofing far too much ourselves. Not enough at the sharp end again against a side that defends well. Needed Gaston to provide a bit of imagination.

Same old last ditch dirty tackle...different ref.

what a gabfest.....

Well he is actually, set up both of their goals last week, fits in perfectly with the way they play.

Wasn't the kick-off at Stoke delayed as well ?

Well as far as I can gather it's to reassure the "fans" that the new management mean to develop the club and not sell us to the highest bidding Far East whack job come May. As Mauricio said himself, he's got a contract up until the end of next season and there's no rush over a new one. That's the trouble with "fans", the more you pander to them, the more they want.

Add to that the continual jaunts around the globe for WC qualifiers, Confederations Cup games etc and you have a young man who is completely destabilised. Ah but Suarez still scores a lot of goals I hear you say, but the c**t got a convenient 10 match suspension though didn't he so he had plenty of time to recover from all the rest of the football.

Hmmm, just needs a bit of Waterman's finest carmine red ink and that would closely resemble a Harry Spooner destruction of one of my finest 3rd form bike shed essays.:uhoh: -
And yet he chucked one of his favourite players in the trash can without giving him a chance in the PL. Brought Sharp here on the basis that it was 'his best chance of PL football" and then binned him after 4 months.
-
And yet the fact that Adkins had some of those players at his disposal in something little better than Sunday league football (on occasions) made him a great manager. When you have a side with at least 5 players who can command starters places in the PL getting out of League 1 is no achievement.

30 month contract (well roughly anyway, up until June of next year)
-
It would but as Mauricio says we're in a phase of reorganisation and it needs time. We shall see what happens, personally I'd still not be surprised by anything that happens at SFC from here to August.
-
And for the time being he's still nearer the start of his contract than the end. Football Managers' contracts are hardly worth the paper on which they're printed. Bad results...manager gets sacked contract or no contract, good results and a "bigger" club comes calling..manager fecks off.. Contracts only determine the compensation either way.

Sir Gawain and the Greeen Knight in it's original middle English form is by an as yet unconfirmed author, commonly known as the Pearl Poet. Some might tell you that John Massey is the Pearl Poet but that is still highly disputed. -

As a Sixth former post A levels I was lucky enough to be chosen to spend a couple of weeks at Alcock's excavations of South Cadbury Hill. There were some passionate and knowledgeable people there, guess some of their enthusiasm (knowledge probably not so much) rubbed off. Waded through Morte D'Athur, some Chretien de Troyes stuff and a few other works. Don't go to any conventions or anything but I wouldn't mind going to one some day or other. -
Red Adidas booter, can't be too many of those, might be JWP he still wears those, then again he isn't wearing first team kit. Most of the other Adidas wearers have gone to the orange model. Then again it could be a lad from the U21s like McQueen.

Well as I think companies like Oxbow and RipCurl give the top boarders shedloads of money to promote their products to other brainless dorks who try to board for a week once a year and then wear the same kit to raves and nightclubs for the rest of the time I can't see suitable ski clothing catching on any time soon in those disciplines.

Well if you'd actually become the world's greatest expert on Arthurian Legend you'd have made a mint and probably have a chair at a very respectable university. There's a whole series of works on AL and they aren't cheap, 20 or so volumes at at least 50£ a throw (don't know how many they sell though) and the chair in English Lit at Durham is held by a lady who's an expert in Arthurian legend I believe. Still dabble in it myself from time to time, plenty of forums about if you ever fancy renewing your interest. I also run nigh on every day, been doing that since my first XC at Bitterne Park Juniors so going on 50 years I suppose.. -

Gaffer is a word you find in novels by writers like Hardy, you also find it in Lord of the Rings, usually refers to a venerable elder, probably comes from a bastardisation of godfather or even grandfather. Used to be fairly common in colloquial English actually. -
don't look like a couple of lads with strained ankle ligaments actually; Perhaps both on the bench for the Hull game, if not Cup game.
-
Once again he wasn't "dropped", he was knackered after the Arsenal game and was sparingly used.
-
I'm not sure that you could play Pochettino tactics with any old players, as far as I can see if you haven't got the right type of player in midfield then the tactic will be a dismal failure. I've seen a few imitations of our style of late but they tend to crack after about an hour and then the result isn't pretty to watch.

Saints long term deal with adidas to be terminated?

Well as Iconix paid a fair bit for Umbro you'd expect them to seek out some sort of flagship PL deals wouldn't you. It may be that quite a few clubs will go back to Umbro in the near future, in the end Nike may well regret discontinuing the brand and selling them off.
