wouldn't make one iota of difference to Deschamps and his bosses at the FFF. Well known fact, if you want to be selected for the French national side get yourself a big club or at least one in the top 4 somewhere or other.
-
does the home nations agreement not prevent that ?
-
Have there ever been 30 man England squads before, just prior to WCs I suppose.
-
Why not just take Arsenal's 15 million, much easier,
-
Well known fact.
-
Which is their modus operandii anyway. Sakho didn't want to leave PSG but as he wasn't going to get much game time with PSG because of the 2 braziliian CBs that they have there they told him that it was in his interest to move on. We all know that Mombaerts told Morgan to find a "better club" back in 2009 when we got knocked back to League 1, I think it might still be held against him.
-
Squad of 30 to which you have to add Jagielka and Phil Jones so at least 9 of these players won't be making the final 23, some of those are quite evident others not so much so players can't really slack off too much in the remaining PL fixtures.
-
They nearly did but Ukraine presented a weak side in the 2nd leg play off game (wonder why ) and a "miracle" transpassed.
-
Not with the famous Home Nations Agreement as it stands he can't. No naturalised player has ever played for England I think and probably never will. If it was possible Sylvain Distin would have been playing for England years ago.
-
Not really, Smalling covers the position fairly well actually and you need to stop dreaming about Clyne.
-
Normal, he doesn't play for the right club, you won't get into a Deschamps side unless you've played in european competition at some time or other. The FFF told him what he had to do back in 2009, he didn't listen and won't play for France until he does, he knows it so the fact that he's still here can be used as a measure of loyalty I guess.
-
If he wasn't in the extended group there wouldn't be enough Utd players...simples. I though Defoe was injured, must have made a miracle recovery I suppose.
-
Must be crap then as they've actually included 2 players who are injured in their selection, it's all about bizzybizz with them.
-
Doesn't seem to be much interest in this game on the OS, is there a presser this afternoon ?
-
Morgan is off of their radar and will be until he gets a move to a club that the FFF staff respect, there is no mystery, he's a better player than Grenier,Sissoko or Mavuba but DD won't pick anyone from a club that he sees as second rate.
-
What and miss our total demise, get paid in arrears and lose the chance of playing under the Dutch duo you mean. Fortunately for him he left when he did, not to mention that we probably needed the 5 million £.

Ex-Saint Reeves named in Northern Ireland squad

but true.... -
don't think we need to spend anywhere near that amount but we need to be more astucious in our choices. There are good players available for 5 or 6 million, you have to know where to look for them though. I'd have thought we'd be well up on that with our planet wide scouting network. If we have one area where we can really improve it's player recruitment. Far too many cock ups in the recent past.
-
Once again that will depend on the state of his leg injury. I think if he'd been fit we'd have played him last Saturday but he wasn't so we didn't so when Cork went off we had to reshuffle the pack a bit, never helps really. Davis dropped back into the role and Morgan dropped further back. A like for like player would have probably benefitted us more actually.

How exactly does he qualify for Northern Ireland then, must be pretty tenous. -
Perhaps the accounts are disastrous who knows, doubt it. If we knew why Gareth Rogers was leaving before he got moved upwards suddenly we might even know a weeny bit more. Obviously there are people who know these things, whether they choose to share them with us is up to them but if they can't then they should say nothing whatsoever.
-
Except that we have at least err well let us say a certain number of players who want to move forward faster than the club will now do because they're coming to the zenith of their careers. So not only will we need the couple of shrewd additions we'll need more additions to replace those who will definitely leave this summer, at least 2, perhaps more.

I'm not saying anything, well apart from whatever it was that I posted yesterday, can't be bothered to find it. However our venerable poster Toomer has said on a few occasions that NC was in fact sacked, he may even possess some sort of evidence to that effect.

Chelsea must have about 30 players out on loan throughout Europe, they just buy players and immediately loan them out, happened again in January with Salah and Zouma. If you checked you'd probably find 20 or 30 Chelsea owned players out on loan , most of them will never ever play for Chelsea. Don't know why they do it, they must have their reasons I guess. I suppose by doing that they control the market, Everton used to do it back in their glory days. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/chelsea-fc/transfers/verein_631.html
