Red Adidas booter, can't be too many of those, might be JWP he still wears those, then again he isn't wearing first team kit. Most of the other Adidas wearers have gone to the orange model. Then again it could be a lad from the U21s like McQueen.

Well as I think companies like Oxbow and RipCurl give the top boarders shedloads of money to promote their products to other brainless dorks who try to board for a week once a year and then wear the same kit to raves and nightclubs for the rest of the time I can't see suitable ski clothing catching on any time soon in those disciplines.

Well if you'd actually become the world's greatest expert on Arthurian Legend you'd have made a mint and probably have a chair at a very respectable university. There's a whole series of works on AL and they aren't cheap, 20 or so volumes at at least 50£ a throw (don't know how many they sell though) and the chair in English Lit at Durham is held by a lady who's an expert in Arthurian legend I believe. Still dabble in it myself from time to time, plenty of forums about if you ever fancy renewing your interest. I also run nigh on every day, been doing that since my first XC at Bitterne Park Juniors so going on 50 years I suppose.. -

Gaffer is a word you find in novels by writers like Hardy, you also find it in Lord of the Rings, usually refers to a venerable elder, probably comes from a bastardisation of godfather or even grandfather. Used to be fairly common in colloquial English actually. -
don't look like a couple of lads with strained ankle ligaments actually; Perhaps both on the bench for the Hull game, if not Cup game.
-
Once again he wasn't "dropped", he was knackered after the Arsenal game and was sparingly used.
-
I'm not sure that you could play Pochettino tactics with any old players, as far as I can see if you haven't got the right type of player in midfield then the tactic will be a dismal failure. I've seen a few imitations of our style of late but they tend to crack after about an hour and then the result isn't pretty to watch.

Saints long term deal with adidas to be terminated?

Well as Iconix paid a fair bit for Umbro you'd expect them to seek out some sort of flagship PL deals wouldn't you. It may be that quite a few clubs will go back to Umbro in the near future, in the end Nike may well regret discontinuing the brand and selling them off. -
Can't see it myself, he needs a bit more recognition yet before he'd be considered for a top job like that. One more stepping stone needed, I could see him getting a nearly top Spanish club like Sociedad though.

Sterile posssession means nothing, they've only scored 24 goals and yet they're putting in about 14 or 15 shots per game, most of them are from way out and go over the top. They've no cutting edge at all, as I said a while back it looks pretty but it's pointless most of the time.
-
He never worries about the potential accuracy of whatever he might say, being contrary is all that matters. Glasgow Glasgow quite contrary how does your posting go With trolling and bullsh*t That's how my posting goes.
-
No doubt because the PL make us do that, we should give him a number and let him train with the others, can't see what difference it could possibly make.
-
Swansea going for a tea-boy manager philosophy certainly won't help their cause.
-
Anyone who cared to read my fairly recent and insightful post on the subject of Swansea in general and Laudrup in particular. Trouble is I can't remember in what context I made it, perhaps a Pochettino sacking thread (no doubt started by Glasgow) so I can't look it up and remind you all of whatever it was that I said.
-
Told you he was getting near the borderline. Too many injuries and too little flexibility in their style of play to continue very long in English football.
-
Mauricio explained all of this after the game on Saturday, he said that Jack was feeling very tired after the Arsenal game so he gave him a bit of a rest and put Victor in.
-
I think there's another one on the lounge as well. Perhaps they can get their act together next time and just make the one thread eh.
-
Absolutely, only the team matters, free parking and good PR mean squat to me. In fact I hate PR, smarmy knobs with tinpot degrees pandering to low intellects.
-
probably because he is.
-
doubly so really, as the other lads we're obviously a bit knackered after the performance on Tuesday what they really didn't need was Victor giving the ball away all of the time so that they had to chase some more to get it back. Didn't expect him to be that bad really,Jack must have really been knackered for Mauricio to give Victor the start in that state. I really doubt if young Harry would have done any worse.
-
Well I guess he couldn't but do that, he was there, no doubt to watch our lads because Fulham have no-one he could possibly be interested in.
-
Well seeing how bad he was yesterday I doubt that that's a very good idea at all. Needs to shed a lot of weight before he's allowed anywhere near the first team again. Caused havoc and let them get the better of us eventually in the first half.
-
because they want to play Cork,Victor and Morgan. Probably won't happen and certainly not whilst Victor is doing Incredible Hulk impersonations. Jack and Morgan will start in CM against Stoke. They won't be so knackered as they were at the start yesterday. Morgan is our best ball winner and he doesn't often waste it when he recovers the ball, he also gets forward plenty anyway so I can't see any reason to change the way things are actually.
-
Fulham, West Brom and Swansea.
-
Looked way overweight, slow and cumbersome, put all of our system under duress because he did nothing well. Still with the performance of the two other CMs on Tuesday evening they'd obviously left a few feathers behind so it was a tempting move to start him.
