OK for me, we'll see if it's lagging again though. Needs something to happen that's noteworthy then I get the post on here to see where the commentary is in relation

I am, I always do...afterwards often not so much.

Shaw is a 16 year old kid he is not the Messiah
-
With Vaz Te out perhaps we don't need full backs per se Could be straight up 3-5-1-1
-
Playing Lambert in the same role every game makes us predictable. Rooney doesn't play every game now does he. If nothing's leaked out during the week then this plan could well catch BFS by surprise.
-
Think it's shift work myself, 2 CFs 45 minutes all out effort each. As for the defensive qualities of SRL, well we've 3 central defenders on the pitch so might not be missed as much there as some think. It's a bold plan, it could even work, let's hope it does.

Game for hard men today.
-
We probably sold about 50000 shirts in a Tokyo supermarket in between the time he tweeted and the time the team sheet was announced.
-
Anyone think we're going 3 at the back with Yoshi sweeping behind Jos and José and playing a libero role as well? I can see that working actually, in fact after reflecting for a while I can see the plan clear as day.
-
Well I'd say we're going to pack midfield anyway and rely on some hard grafting from JRod (at first) and then Rickie ploughing lone furrows at the point of the attack trying to make it happen for the midfield masses following in behind. Might just work I suppose.
-
off course it doesn't, the chairman picked it obviously ;;;or so some will tell you.

Abstract is about all you can say about it. Yoshi ain't great at left back but he's still better than our number 1 left back who we failed to replace last summer, recruiter hang your head in shame.
-
Perhaps being kept in reserve for a 35 minute impact on West Ham's defence which will no doubt be dimished by at least one red card by then.
-
Boruc at centre forward then

no it isn't doh

listening to his pre-match interview gives you the impression that NA is committed to "attractive football" at all costs. Now whether that's his credo or club policy I just couldn't say. However if he sees entertaining the fans as more important that winning (or even not losing) then I feel for his future in one of the world's toughest leagues. Cos at the end of the day losing is never particularly entertaining, I'd prefer winning ugly to losing pretty, at least when there's relegation as an eventuality at the end of the season. We can play pretty next season, this season is about survival and nothing more.

I am an extremely clever bod but unfortunately for you I have no artistic attributes whatsoever, and even if I did I'd probably want to exploit them financially, sign of the times really..:smug: Get your local art school to do it, they'll welcome the opportunity.
-
A lot of pessimism about this game then, very peturbing, the losing mindset is setting in. It's only West Ham, a side that the vast majority of our support considered us superior to last season.

Le Tissier: "Cortese is not a nice human being"

I still haven't worked out what Mick Channon has to do with all this  -
Pretty evident really, I personally think that if we should lose heavily to West Ham (4-1 as you state) NC would see it as a sign of non-progress compared to a like for like rival and quite simply sack NA. It's just a sort of intuition on my part though.

A player we ourselves should have made a big effort to sign last January. He also creates opportunities for others, plus he'd be on Fox's side so it's all a big bonus with him out. Still think we'll get a "surprise" result myself and let's face it we could certainly do with one, even if it's only our first away point of the season.
