Any team with Butterfield,Seaborne and De Ridder can't be good. We don't give Dickson a game so why bother with those 3 either.

Plenty of other countries have League Cup matches this evening, ones that don't consider the League Cup as an outing for reserves and fringe players until they get to the semi-finals.

The Dell in pre-Hillsborough days was a proper football ground, open terraces, very few women, segrated kids areas and not many stewards. Not that fantastic, in fact I'd say we got promotion despite having Davis in goal. With a decent keeper we'd have topped 100 points.

People believing that Davis is an adequate keeper is what got us into this mess in the first place. Number 1 priority last May was a real PL goalkeeper. We didn't get that right and we've been up the creek ever since. Davis is slow going down, slow to come out, his positioning is awful and his kicking even worse.

Boruc will just get a club fine, maybe a week's pay.
