Mayuka on for JRod at half-time perhaps.
-
this of course comes from someone believing that AL can play CM, he can't...he's a front man but when you've given his place to JRod what can you do.
-
cheap Carling I expect
-
[ Wot no JRod
-
no doubt his agent, hope it isn't his dad this time.

Team for Tottenham, your thoughts?

doubt if he's even the best scouse striker in the premier league. -
and don't forget Enjoy Carling ..take it easy

Not enough football this season, that's the problem.Far too many vacuum days where nothing vaguely Saints related is happening. Now if we had 46 league matches it would be better, plus the occasional bit of team news as well.
-
so did whoever hands out the numbers at SFC. When you aren't seen as a starter you get your 1-11 number taken away, apart from Lallana that is. Now if you believe Billy Sharp's tweets it's the chairman who decides that (I hope the Chairman lets me keep my number 11 shirt (to go with his new boots).

It's on Canal + Foot as well but at 19h30 so I'll listen in on Saints Player and then if we're any good I'll watch later.

Ah I don't know, my sister had an Embassy cover of Cathy's Clown and I thought it better than the Everley Brother's version, mind you I was probably about 10 at the time.
-
Although I suspect that the 2 or 3 relatively simple looking chances that SRL missed against Fulham wouldn't have obtained unanimous approval, without doubt there's a knobber somewhere in our set up saying "Jesus my boy JRod would have scored those blindfolded".
-
I could well believe that but until someone admits (or at least accepts) that we have wasted 7 million £ on a striker that we don't need and isn't as good as the one we had before this is going to keep happening. There is obviously pressure to get JRod on to the pitch every match. Lambert,Sharp,Lee and Mayuka would have been enough to see us through to January at least.
-
As long as we can get them then. I fancy us for a win, but then I always do, just like last week.
-
Not the same as Embassy then , they stopped mid 60's when the production company (Oriole) was bought out.
-
Ah you mean the Embassy label, my sister had a stack of them but then she used to work at Woolies in Portswood as a "saturday girl" in the good old days when jobs were a plenty and companies resorted to school kids to fill in at the week end. Bet she's still got them, she never throws anything away whch is probably why they live in a 6 bedroom house for just 2 of them
-
that would be good because it looks as if we may need a result to keep us in the bunch and not be tailed off.

It's all about entertaining the fans apparently, Sorry Nige but I could go a shabby 1-0 win without being enterained in the least bit. -
Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks

And just how legal (or ethical) would it be for a bookmaker to slash the odds on a candidate so as to promote the idea that something was going on and thus encourage more foolish wagers ? -
so has Nigel, or seemingly so. Not in contention for the PL I fear.
-
So why are we going overboard on Di Canio today then? Just because some mug punter has got more money than sense I suspect.
-
Crafted him a few that he couldn't convert against Fulham though, 2 quite simple, one a bit harder. Put them all over the top, probably why he got dropped. They were chances that 95% of the real Prem league strikers would take with their hands in their pockets.
-
You'd think 'Arry would have advised Bournemouth against that wouldn't you, seeing as he loves Pompey so much.

What have West Ham done thats better than saints?

That first goal was a shocker really, enough to shake the hardest players. When you concede like that you have to wonder if you'll ever get any good fortune. Second wasn't much better, I really don't know what Yoshida thought he was doing (or Guly for that matter) just flashing his heel at it like that, sort of thing you do in training when you can't be bothered.
