if I remember correctly last time he played left back for us he gave away a penalty, Tranmere away perhaps.

There was a film about the assisination of Lincoln a while back, The Conspirator if I remember correctly. Redford was director I think and it looks at the trial of the presumed assassins. James McAvoy was in it but I don't think there were either Mel Gibson or Julia Roberts.

there are virtually no films of Salinger's works, maybe one, maybe none. He didn't want to be any sort of role model or public figure. Free education here Bearsy, fill yer boots.
-
well i don't think he actually kills anyone but he did have a younger brother who died.

Well not really, it's about a very confused 1950s teenager who has problems relating to virtually the whole of society. In fact the title comes from his deranged state. When asked what he wants to be or do all he can come up with is a line from a poem (Burns i think) about a body meeting a body coming through the rye with kids falling off a cliff and him catching them.. Hence the Catcher in the Rye although the setting is 1950s New York. Salinger was a bit of a wierdo though.

he was on the bench for Spurs on Sunday. Don't know if he got a game though.

Wednesday probably want to win, if as predicted we play virtually our entire reserve contingent then they probably will. This isn't Stevenage or Lower Upham, if we want to win then we need at least half of the first teamers to play some part tonight.

Bradford in 76, wearing wellies was the smart dress code.

They're obviously having difficulty coming to terms with the fact that they're shîte nowadays. It's just not going to get any better for them in the near future either cos they've been unwise in their acquisitions both playerwise and managerwise. Should have got Martinez.

Largely overpaid then
-
I noticed that a lot of "elite quarterbacks" just aren't getting it all their own way any more, linebackers seem to be getting faster and faster and O Lines slower and weaker, never seen so many sacks and knock downs. The Bengals getting after RGIII the other night, welcome to the pros son.

I thought he was supposed to be on 3 million a year. Big bonuses then;

Nemesis at work then, the usual officials have been giving them every dodgy decision possible for a few seasons now. Guess they know how it feels to have unbiased officials. Remember an NFC championship game against the Iggles a couple of years back, Packers must have got 15/20 iffy decisions in their favour and the Iggles got about 200 yards of penalties. Clay Matthews does it, it's a great play any other linebacker...roughing the passer.

Ah you mean diver Suarez, well he dived cos that's what he does.
-
Must admit I didn't see much wrong with the reffing yesterday, Shelvey put in a bad tackle, probably because he's a bad player playing way above his level, and the penalty, well it was a penalty.
-
I suspect not, just plain lack of grasp of offered information.

In fact Boiruc's clean sheet record is pretty good, almost 1 game in 2, a bit less.

Stroke after the Arsenal game ? -
he's probably got 3 mums

Think he'll probably play tomorrow evening and then it will be decided for Saturday.

I watched them against Newcastle last week, good going forward but a bit lightweight at the back at times. It could be that Gaston and Rickie give them a torrid time, depends if we could shut down Leighton Baines.

I personally don't want to see Shaw anywhere near the first team in the League for a while yet. It seems that NA preferred an injured Fox to Shaw these last couple of games and there must be a reason for that. I expect to see Clyne carry on at LB for a while now unless Maya can play there and moves over when Jos is fit.

I don't think Villa are being very well managed at all. In theory Lambert is a good manager but some of his player choices on Saturday seemed strange.A lot of fairly young players where they have experienced men available. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him get sacked soon if their results don't pick up, perhaps not before Rogers though cos he's just doing a f*ck awful job.

A spell in the NPC will do them good.
