  1. was a major poster at one time, used to work for Barclay's International in that sort of double towered thingy in Poole (or at least he said he did).
  2. haven't heard from him in a while, did he ever make it back from his night out with EoA and DP?
  3. Not sure that I can follow on Saturday either cos I have a conference,so i went and got one of those new fangled, kick-ass phones today, haven't got a clue what to do with it though.
  4. Be the minimum of about 2400 if their ground has a capacity of 24000 ish as I think it does.
  5. TBH a couple of them look a bit porky, not Saints fit at all.
  6. For me we're already up,don't really care when it actually happens.
  7. Now would be soon enough. Was thinking of starting a "PL your Saints 25" thread but thought I'd wait until Saturday.
  8. Nearest away game to be sure, trouble is they have such a p*ssy little ground,ST holders will snaffle up our allocation for that one. Still looks like we might be going to Wigan after all, that should please more than a few ground collectioners.
  9. 38/5, isn't generous really.Mind you they probably give about 2/1 on the Mediterranean freezing over in August. No such thing as a poor bookie.
  10. as I noted in an edit,Windsor saint got all muddled up or discounted the play-offs.
  11. can't be right, that gives them a reasonable chance now 13000/8 I could well believe. If you can get 40/1 for snow in Trafalgar Sq a Christmas 13/8 for West Ham doing the absolute impossible is derisory. We will finish second, if we don't it will be because Reading have lost at Birmingham and we're first and they're second, West ham are out of it. What are the odds on Saints beating Coventry? cos West Ham for second can't be any shorter than the inverse of that. Ah I see West Ham are 13/8 for promotion not to finish second because Corals obviously fancy their chances in the play-offs.
  12. I don't know then, if you look at the "buy tickets" section of their OS there's a buy tickets button for the Saints game, didn't check any further than that cos I can't go anyway. Anyway according to the Coventry OS tickets for Saints-Coventry are on sale and will be until either the 27th April or they sell out. There's a green square against most categories which would indicate to me that they have tickets still, they may have sent whole blocks back to us because they weren't shifting them quickly enough but nowhere does it say that they are sold out. If you're desperate to be there (and who wouldn't be except those who absolutely can't) I'd think you can get a ticket from Cov, club probably wouldn't agree with me though.
  13. Bet his Mum hasn't seen that photo, Dad's probably proud of him though.
  14. Aw come on it just seems to need a bit of gumption and a bit of guile. Surely if you have a Midlands based friend or relation you can register at Coventry and buy a ticket. They seem to be still selling them.
  15. Not to mention Oscar Wilde who on his release from that establishment wrote the Ballad of Reading Gaol. In Reading Gaol by Reading Town there lies a pit of shame now would he be a meaning Elm Park by that?
  16. run out of puff then, seems to be happening to a lot of sides;plenty of matches and not enough players available would be my guess, sides no doubt having to resort to youngsters for the league, something that we've not had to do.
  17. That'll do, we're up.
  18. Why did the fokkers have to start talking about a clean sheet, roll on next season when I can see nigh on every game and i won't have to put up with Merrington and his oppo.
  19. must have just been a couple of flashes in the pan last week then.
  20. not mathematically no but in practice..highly probable.
  21. Should set up a big screen in front of the Guildhall with a live feed.Couple of quid a go.
  22. took a bang on the head when he scored apparently, just precautionary no doubt.
  23. leeds were all over us
  24. Sharp hat-trick would be good.Maybe they'll stop calling us Lamberton, not that we give a toss anyway.
  25. looks like you ain't going anywhere futurewise then.
