true a 10 pointer will still leave them above the relegation zone and with all their players. Just need to wind them up and let them start again in the Blue Square sharing a ground with Havant cos Pompey...well they're never going to pay their existing debts.
-
Unsurprising, this is a Saint's board and we fecking hate Pompey. Fact is we pay our bills and you errr don't. At least when we were in the sh*tter our board made some sort of effort to cut costs and not rip people off any more than necessary, plenty of fans with shares lost money as well. You ? well you just carry on as if nothing had happened. You'll go into admin again, won't stop you signing old has beens at 30K a week though.
-
Now if this were to happen in a lot of countries the local version of the FA would already have a stack of lawsuits filed against them because they approved the owners each time.

At 2euros90 the kilogramme you might get your ticket money back by collecting them up. You'd only need about 9 kilos.Apples(or real Oranges) would probably be cheaper and much more likely to inflict damage. I got hit by a flying orange once at a Mardi Gras parade in Binche in Belgium, cut my eyebrow and really really hurt.Even had to get it stitched up.Tried to get back the cost from American Express and they sent me a questionnaire about the exact type of Orange and all.Stapled a bit of orange peel to the form and told them to find out themselves, doubt if they did, they just paid.
-
Probably not, isn't it a Champion's League night??
-
repeat offenders....they'll get more if the Football League and the Premier league aren't considered as separate entities. I mean a company that hasn't even started paying off it's last admin settlement going into admin again...nah that's curtains but it won't happen cos it's Pompey.
-
but they'd have a further game in hand They'd be on 51 with 17 to play (I think) and we'd be on 54 with 15 to play. However if we should beat them tomorrow and then Pompey's results were expunged, well they might as well give us the title trophy already.

Rangers have only filed notice of intention to enter administration, nothing is as yet definitive, obviously a move to try to get HMRC to climb down on the £49 million bill.
-
Wait on, is this a serious thread then? Thought it was just a wind-up
-
I don't much care, never have but as in the many previous scrapes I just know that they won't go out of business.
-
Repeat offenders it was their second admin in 7 years. Rangers will initially be deducted 10 points, after that it will have to be seen what happens but Ist time offenders is always the same -10.
-
even if they do go into Admin and lose 10 points they'll still be second and qualified for Europe. Rangers is just about tax and contributions.
-
Depends whether Morgan can shut down Noble as well as he did Nolan.Straight man for man marking job if I remember correctly.
-
Shouldn't be too hard, there are a lot of right tools at Pompey.
-
that would involve him actually having the plot in the first place.
-
You're in the wrong place then, my wife was teaching Lycée when the kids were born, full pay plus about 300 £ a month extra "supplement familiale" until they were 3 and then only about 200£ extra after that. No wonder France is broke,Mitterand got confused between the workplace and the Club Med.Mind you she only took about 4 months off each time.
-
no indeed, totally inept in the transfer market, must have bought more players and failed to get anything out of them, given them away at knockdown prices only to see them perform for another PL side than any other manager.

Top 5 players FROM Southampton (or close by)
Window Cleaner replied to Angus McCoatup's topic in The Saints
Steve Mills was from either Portsmouth or Gosport, went to Gosport Grammar, played against him in the Hampshire Schools 6s at the Sports Centre. -
NA did say Sharp had "niggles" but we're working on them.
-
No wonder he can afford customised red and white striped boots then.Must make him the most expensive player in our current side .
-
I noticed that the BBC use one of those posted on Saturday for their picture on the game report.Morgan stiff arming a Burnley player if I remember rightly.
-
Our agenda is 7 home and 9 away though, should be OK all the same. I'm counting 19 points at home and at least 12 away as being enough to get at least 2nd.
-
we'd not be the winners in such a swap. Guly is a playmaker,JRod is a common or garden front man.
-
I'm not, but it's an evident OG, Lambert has about as much right to claim it as Sharp. Don't see why there's all the discussion really.
-
well it's an own goal. If Sharp needs to claim it to get his counter running so be it, but that's an autogol.
