If it was down to Harry he always likes a bung.
-
makes sense, it's already tomorrow in Japan.
-
so when he does his first radio interview it will be Lee on Solent.......... ok I'm going
-
keepers are probably a weeny bit better in the NPC, don't forget that misfit that they had at Skate,Kawaguchi, played 122 times for Japan. Still, we'll mould Lee to our style if he's got the right building blocks.
-
he was out of contract on the 31st January....no matter what anyone else may tell you or dig up from duffy transfermarkt info. (if you believe what they say we only got 5.3 million for AOC)
-
told you so, the bloke who told me is never wrong about that sort of thing,he had a fact sheet about TL with it written on.
-
Well I could see that 941 minutes of playing time out of a possible 2880 might upset more than one amongst the management of SFC,especially when the core players are all up around 2100/2200.Unless he wasn't fully fit for Monday, which leads to a discussion about general fitness levels, the selection of Falque in front of De Ridder tells many a tale.
-
Didn't we once have a poll about Puncheon's return, perhaps someone could dig it up.
-
As Linford Christie once said when asked about all the stories about him in the Red Tops 'Nah,I don't mind really, when they're writing about me it gives Lady Di a rest". Perhaps Guly will get some down time from the fans now that they have Punch to decry.
-
And Falque proved his worth on Monday did he ??
-
Whatever the way of it it is what needed to happen because we're woefully short of players as Monday proved and having a bloke who's played 15/20 EPL games in the last year hanging about in the dog house doing diddly squat borders on the absurd. No doubt Monday might have been a way opener cos between backing down a bit on Puncheon and continuing with Falque and Holmes is a no brainer.
-
Could have done with him on Monday really. No point in cutting off your nose to spite your face, however might tend to indicate that Lallana's absence might be a bit longer than foreseen. On the other hand it might just well be move to make him more marketable,in which case he'll not play on saturday.

wouldn't surprise me, some industrial tribunals might see it as a case of restriction of trade. -
unless the BBC have it wrong of course Against Cheltenham 7/1/12 18 Defoe (Falque 76)
-
Falque is cup tied.

You'd be amazed then, players are often real idiots, that's why agents can take a big cut out of any deal that they can get for them. There are 3 or 4 things that are really stumbling blocks in today's transfer market, but above all it's about salary parity and buy-out clauses.Strange to think of it at the start of a contract but many are already considering their next move, they may want a release clause along the lines of.."If a top 5/6/7/8 PL club enquires about me I have to be told and I can talk to them if they meet the 3/4/5/6 million buyout clause". Now something tells me that NA won't consider that sort of clause and so transfers stumble.

none of the injured would be risked from the start, may be a little run out to see how they are for Tuesday. Why we might even have to use Jaidi in defence or someone from the "development squad" that in fact develops the square root of zero because AOC came from the academy group. Falque can't play in the cup because he's already played for Spurs so I guess the hard core of the squad will be on deck again cos there's nothing else.

If the gift from Leicester had fallen to a player like Nugent instead of Connolly we'd have gone 1 up and the whole match would have been different. You don't get gifts like that very often and you just have to take them,a few minutes after Nugent blasts one in from a similar range and it's goodnight nurse.Connolly had time to take it forward a couple of strides and hammer it past Schmeichel, a class player doesn't miss those. Connolly is vastly overated. Other than that, all our chances fell to midfielders or defenders, why aren't our "strikers" getting on to the end of that stuff. Midfield always get the blame but they can't be "à la foire et au moulin"
