Anyone else starting to worry about fixture pile-up ?
Window Cleaner replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Agreed, especially as some of the others are giving us a hand up with awful results just now. -
I don't think they could really afford him either. Strange that their fans were so against him, can't all be because he played for Burnley surely.I mean we didn't hate Crouch unduly did we? Some of the things that PNE fans say about Chappers seem really odd.
-
It's Gaddafi, it's just what you'd expect him to do.He doesn't give a toss about what the world thinks, he's a megalomaniac.
-
The yanks should have nuked them when they had a reason back in the 80s.
-
What do you expect Gaddafi is a nut job.I worked with a bloke once who was kicked out of Libya when Gadddafi came to power. Got 24 hours to leave the country and leave everything behind, house, car, bank account everything.
-
do not the Italians have a proverb which goes 'to pay and to die there is always time" or something of that ilk??
-
how come? As we'll go down there and muller Bompey that gives us 3 games to make up 5 points. These are great results for us today.
-
Not Charlton and Huddersfield though and as I don't count Bournemouth anyway......
-
Why? they're all crap anyway. Surely Bournemouth and Huddersfield both know that a draw is of no use to either of them and if Charlton can't get back into it today it'll be O from 6 this week.
-
I must say that our main promotion rivals (if you can call them that) do seem to be gifting us automatic promotion this week.
-
And making progress even.If the scores should stay as they are, today would be another excellent day for us.
-
that's minor bad news, they'll still fancy their chances of making the play-offs when we have to go there.
-
yep they play Brezovan in the cup, Ankergren is probably 6 times better.Shows that Brighton are totally focused on the League and don't give a toss about further progression in the cup.Plus we don't even get an advantage from having a game less to play.
-
Huddersfield would be on the same points from a game less though.Only a draw is a positive result for us from that game. We still have to play Bournemouth though and will have an opportunity to peg them back ourselves. Whereas if Huddersfield start getting ahead there's not much we could do about it apart from winning all our games.Huddersfield beating Bournemouth will be a bad'dish result for us.Not disastrous but not great either.

Or even an electronic key the same as are used the whole world over, even in developing countries.
-
Soft ground would be better then, really depends on what was wrong with the knee though, whether it was impact damage, poor footwear or poor mechanics that caused it.
-
i shall watch over your progress then. Don't know how it is in the UK now but in France (and maybe several other European countries) you cannot belong to an athletic club as a practising member (or many other types of sports) or participate in any organised race without a medical certificate saying that you are unlikely to keel over due to the exigeances of the sport.
-
Hartlepool is still a long way from Rochdale, depends what the hotel arrangements are I guess.

24 minutes for 2.2 miles isn't bad??? you're right, it's lamentable. Hide that treadmill in the basement until you're fit enough to use it. Seriously though if you could run 10 mountainous in 84 minutes 3 years ago and you can't manage better than 11 minute miles now I think you'd better get a check up from the doc because something isn't right.I ran the big M in 2.20 at my peak 25 years ago,but I can still manage 2.50 now, ability never goes away completely so your regression is surprising.
-
It's not on the BBC fixtures list though.Knew I should have looked on the OS list.
-
Perhaps they haven't got any covers.Sustaining League 1 football on 2500 gates must be extremely precarious.Perhaps it didn't arrange them to play us this week-end. Rochdale could well fancy their chances of a play-off place are better if they play us mid-week.
-
Why would they want to be bored for 95 minutes though.A visit to a WI tea party would probably be more entertaining. Man U -Crawley will be a complete non match, even if Man have their U12s on the pitch.
-
Why can't we fill in on Saturday 26th March, must be a free week-end because of the JPT I suppose. Strange leaving a Saturday vacant like that and having to catch up matches hundreds of miles away on Tuesdays.
-
whether we will have 3600 people who will have the time(and or money) to travel to Rochdale on a Tuesday evening is less certain.
-
I expect Huddersfield and Charlton to win today. If they don't that will be a big bonus for us.
