  1. Well after the great day out that I had yesterday I thought I might do the next round as well. Seeing as it's Utd and there'll be a scramble for tickets I shan't bother. Do another league game instead. Looking forward to the very unsmug not received my ticket, firkin postie must have nicked it thread though
  2. looked like a push in the back to me, a penalty according to the rules of the game but a soft one for all that.
  3. if so get him to ask Bill to give back the lawn mower I loaned him last month.
  4. 19000 ish this morning apparently
  5. Have we signed Guly then...didn't know that.
  6. Well not really sideways, Forest are doing pretty well in the NPC and could go into the automatic promotion spots if they win their games in hand. I could see them bidding for a player like Lambert but whether he'd want to go there is something else.As they've signed Tudgay recently it's probably old news anyway.
  7. Ahhh BBT , now when I first noticed this the bibs were the non-starters, since the plan has been exposed it's usually the other way round so it is now Inverted Bib Theory instead of Basic Bib Theory.
  8. Maybe he's only on loan, my Italian is basic plus I didn't read to the end.
  9. What another Saints in making maximum cash shocker, tut tut. Blackpool probably wanted cheap prices because they felt ashamed about sending their reserves.
  10. Reduced prices don't just depend on us,Blackpool have to agree them, if the clubs can't agree then the FA decide. Leicester want a bumper gate and Moneybags Citeh probably don't give a toss so they said OK. With Blackpool's average home crowd being so low they'll probably want to make a couple of quid from the tie as well.
  11. Ox looks really old in those still photos on the OS; I'd put him down as 30
  12. What??? Jaidi and Fonte is Adkins preferred central pairing.
  13. he's at Norwich so I doubt it.
  14. It really depends on how he sees his career progression. there are players who just want to play regardless of the level, there are others who are just content to get paid every month and don't worry too much if they play or not. I am sure that certain of our players are concerned about lack of game time just now.I'd put Martin and Barnard at the top of the list.
  15. it's the OS, they're often behind the times.
  16. Seaborne is Ok but may be chafing at the bit for some regular first team football, seems to be a bit of a bridesmaid at the moment. Same as Martin,at 21 he'll be wanting regular first team football as well.Seaborne has one big problem, he will keep putting his arm up across his opponents face, it's led to a couple of penalties already (Tranmere last year and one this year) and it will lead to more and some bookings (of which he gets his fair share already). I'm sure that our coaching staff can sort this out though but he's still doing it every game apparently, even Solent remarked on it over at sometime in the last few games.
  17. 5 is by far young enough, maybe even too young.2/3 hours of noise and hustle and bustle is far too long for a very young child. I'm sure there are pediatric studies on this anyway.
  18. don't get your drift, why should a poster's opinion be filtered out; I also believe that given our current status young players with real promise should be allowed to leave if the price is right. One has a moral obligation to "be all you can be" and they'll be better players at Arsenal or Barcelona.
  19. It would appear to me that that there is something about Martin's game that Adkins and Crosby don't care for. Has he played once since they've been here ?? Lad must be really peeved, he was breaking through under the old regime and now he's been put to the back of the queue seemingly.
  20. Irony, sarcasm and coincidence are oft confused. Mind you Alanis Morisette didn't help. Then again I think we've had this discussion many times before.
  21. I don't think it was a case of us "letting him go". I seem to remember he was desperate to leave.Just signed for Coventry anyway and let the tribunal sort the fee out.
  22. Not worth a new thread but Papa Waigo has left Fiorentina for a second division Italian club.. Grosetto
  23. One name here ...Messi, all this playing on the wrong side stems from Barca fever. Their wide midfielders both play on the wrong side. Coaches take the attitude if it works for them it should work for us. I'm sure there's a respected coaching manual that advocates it though.
  24. he was at Watford at one time, must have played against us I think.
  25. but didn't we sign Richardson as first choice right back?? Butterfield was a late addition because of Richardson's shoulder injury.
