Liverpool are supposed to be looking at a Dutch wide man from Hamburg, Elajero or something like that, Dutch international anyway. If that's the case I very much doubt that they'll be looking at any other wide men in the 10£ million bracket this time round. CM is a much bigger problem area for them .
-
Aren't they meant to be running after Ranieri already??
-
Probably yes.Leeds and Norwich seem to be doing OK, can't remember what their recruitment was like last summer though. There's a lot of crap in the NPC,a lot of very financially unstable clubs who blow hot and cold depending on what's in the kitty at transfer time. We have several players who'd not be disgraced at the highest level, certainly no worse than a lot of the crap that I see on show at Newcastle,Wigan or even Liverpool.

Rickie spends a lot of his time out there as well these days although he was often on the right as well against Oldham. So if AL is out I expect we'll see a kaleidoscopic front 4 of Guly,Barney,Ox and Rickie .Should be enough to confuse the Magpies.

VMAN is the absolute fountain of knowledge though. Only LB got it right on more things. If VMAN says there might be bad news then I think you can take getting some news that isn't good as read.
-
who cares anyway, whatever he does won't effect us one iota.
-
that would please the fans though, get them to keep coming through the turnstiles. Trouble is most of the players wouldn't understand one word they said.

User Ticket Office is reading as we speak. Seem to be logged on most of the time nowadays, even on Saturdays and Sundays.Think they were looking in virtually seconds after we drew Man U last Sunday. Hi there Ticket Office:smug::smug:.

Watched about the last half hour of yesterday's game and they were unrecognisable, absolutely awful, how you can have a no-hoper like Shelvey and Torres in the same side defies all explanation, plus Johnson playing on the wrong side what was that all about.I really doubt that Dalglish will last that long at Liverpool, supposed to be until the end of the season but I doubt that his dinosaur tactics will be tolerated for that long.

referring to post 11 I presume

I see Ox already has his Arsenal boots then

Do you ever feel sorry for the opposition..?
Window Cleaner replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Not as a rule no. Occasionally for an individual player who's obviously not at his level in an awful side but as a rule not even that. The rest of League 1 will be better off when we're out of it though,no doubt we'll be replaced by some other major club who have fallen on hard times. -
Notts County will come here for a pitched battle in the mould of all Ince sides. Our lads will have to be careful because there'll be a lot of dirty play and provocation. 53 yellow and 5 red cards to their active so far this season, after about 25 games I guess. Pity we don't have a few hard cases at our disposal just for this game .Nigel will have to warn our "bad lads" not to get involved this time...Morgan,Chappers and Danny this means you.

Suso is a Liverpool player, don't like the sound of that really.
-
You're clairvoyant then
-
throw what away?? We will be competitive at least for the first season, either with this team or a reinforced one.We are now scoring goals almost at will, and it now shows that we are a superior side,as we always were but we couldn't score. A fit or re-motivated Lambert has made all the difference.

If everybody had to pay it would no doubt be better, those who champion free forums should go and use them and leave us poor £5 coughing up idiots to our splendid isolation;

back now

I thought this was one of the big positives on Saturday, gave us width,an extra outlet for the midfield and created time for our players to get forward and support the attack. An excellent system plus Rickie is good at it,probably more useful there than as an out and out CF.One down side though, I thought our finishing was poor on the whole but as we still won 2-O no complaints there.
-
Thought twice about this and decided that it was a bit overpriced, glad I did the beers in the Junction at St Denys, the curry in Bevois Valley and the bog standard ticket in the Chapel then.
-
Maybe he's just 30 and has been playing for a long long time.Footballers go downhill at different rates from 27/28 onwards, especially those who had a bit of pace from the outset.Plenty have jacked it in at 30 so any time after that is just a retirement bonus.
-
yeah right and give a maximum amount of Saint's fans hard earned to the FA and Man U. It will be £ 30 ish, maybe 28 but certainly no more than £30. It makes sense really.
-
Holloway sour grapes ?? never:p We have players that would easily become regulars in his motley first XI, they can't afford them though. Why?? because they seem to have spent most of their Premier League money on ground developments and training facilities, their side whilst doing reasonably well in the EPL will come unstuck sooner or later and their lack of squad depth will find them out.
-
But when they go to Old Trafford the mean ticket price is about £41 so when they go away in cup games for £30 it's a bit of a bargain isn't it.
