  1. Pretty good start, 3 overs so far, Vince hogging the bowling and hitting it hard. 3.2 overs: Ah well it was no doubt good while it lasted.
  2. So anyway, not really a defector but remember Krchowiak, that bloke who was pretty brilliant at Seville and who I believe we tried to sign? Well he had an awful season at PSG last year and has now been left out of their tour group along with Ben Arfa. Perhaps it's just a PSG thing but we might have done well not to sign him.
  3. He was a waste of time and money at Saints. Now he's a fat waste of time and money. He must have a brilliant agent though.
  4. Excellent little stage today. If I were Froome and Aru I'd not have let Quintana go like that (if they had any choice that is). He's a 3rd week rider and there are a couple of big, big stages to come next week. Given that Sky don't want Landa any more I'd be wary of him as well. Movistar will snap him up and he might just give them a little advance on his next year's contract.
  5. Berg has done pretty well since he's been with Hants. I'd not knock him for one T20 slogfest bowling jaunt if I were you. He often gets wickets when we most need them in all competitions. He's also pretty handy with the bat when we need some quick runs.
  6. So? Gardos is nowhere near the level required, neither was Juanmi . They go back 3 and 2 seasons respectively don't they ? Add Hojbjerg, Clasie, Boufal etc and Glasgow isn't entirely wrong.
  7. Seriously though he is not wrong on this occasion. Clasie and Hojberg are nowhere near the quality of players they have replaced. Idem Boufal and perhaps even Redmond although I think he still has a bit of progress to come.
  8. So in fact, you believe that the players that we actually have are no longer good enough is that it? If so why did we waste so much money on Clasie and Hojberg or whatever his name is then ?
  9. Why would he leave Swansea to sign for Saints though, that's a sideways move in anyone's book. Especially when better clubs are pursuing him. Anyway the idea of Saints paying even 40 million for one player is just a non starter. We sell for that price, we don't buy.
  10. Don't think we'll be signing any more midfielders unless we have plans to offload some of those that we already have.
  11. Seriously ? Walker is a far better player.
  12. Nah not him,a real troll... Glasgow started out as a serious poster when he was Bournemouth Saint or similar. Barry Sanchez might have been one of his identities I think.
  13. Debatable, I'm sure that at least 1 person has been banned for trolling with multiple identities. Can't remember the names though.
  14. Liverpool are probably planning on playing 50 going on 60 games next season so there will be plently for everybody. Why perhaps they won't even have to play their U13s in the Cup and get knocked out ignominiously in a 3rd round replay. WC season as well so I presume the season will be compact again..
  15. Explains it then because anyone who'd be a thinking Boufal had "quite a good end" to last season would have to be catalogued as delusional really.
  16. He hardly played though, probably the equivalent of 4 full games from March to the end of the season. We have bought a duffer, told you all so at the time. Not at all suited to English football. I'd have thought most clubs would have learnt that from the deboires of the Newcastle brigade, Ben Arfa, Riviere, Cabella, Thauvin etc; These blokes are too slight, too fragile and too thick.
  17. Which must border on the illegal surely. Then again if the punters are mug enough why shouldn't Skybet take their money.
  18. Hrmmm, why am I not surprised !!!
  19. Played for Liverpool didn't he ? Doubt if any of us did.
  20. Probably knows a fair bit better than any of us though.
  21. didn't he go to Gillingham already, end of contract stuff ? Apparently not though. Thought we had a thread about it a few days back.
  22. Anyway it's not going to cost Everton much at all really is it. Koeman obviously sees something in him that the general fan doesn't.
  23. That's probably because he only looks to be about 12.
  24. Indeed it isn't, adds tons to the value of the player during his absence. Why, I remember when Chaplow was injured, every game that went by without him partcipating sent him a bit further along the road to being the nec'est plus ultra footballer of all time. Then when he did actually get a game he was dire as you like, probably got sent off as well knowing him..
