  1. the theory is that the less you post the more you know....and that you only post when you have something valid to relate, hmmmmmmm 7595.. lets me out then.
  2. although the user name sfc1971 might well indicate that the OP is 39,unless of course he started watching saints in 1971, anyway KK would be a very retrograde appointment.
  3. although the user name sfc1971 might well indicate that the OP is 39,unless of course he started watching saints in 1971 oops doubled up, is this forum slow or what
  4. good to see we're taking it really slow, they need to win, we just need more points than them. 22/0 off 14 overs.
  5. only 1.1 million!! bunch of cheapskates
  6. we don't need any more neophyte managers thanks
  7. or promoted if you're a civil servant:?
  8. ridiculous this bad language filter you have to put the **** back in twice before you can use the link, the aldermen of that town should change the name of it to s****thorpe or something,
  9. because we lost at both Leeds and Colchester, needed at least 2 points from those games, no Morgan if I recall correctly and no doubt some unconverted chances that would have changed history, same as at Brentford and Wycombe I guess.
  10. not totally in accord with your opinion concerning signings, Seaborne looks like a complete waste of space and Dickson has yet to show any real class, although he hasn't had much chance yet. Pardew signed a lot of old players (probably not all his fault) with ongoing injuries and then had to replace them urgently.I still believe that a really good manager would have got us to the play-offs at least last season and that's why I'm not sorry to see AP gone, especially after the first day home defeat. With us it's the same old problem, ts season and last, often we don't convert the chances we create against "park the bus sides" and although Barnard and Lambert are both prolific scorers they have often failed in these situations. We should have made a really nippy striker a big priority last January but we signed Barnard instead,we could have probably got Austin then if we'd tried hard enough.
  11. everybody is interested in the job............and so they should be, a chance to manage god's own club ,waiting for Nicola to call myself, mind you he'll have to be quick got to go to the shops soon, still the wife did say someone from SFC called the other day, never did find out what they wanted, so if you're reading that person (who spoke to a lady with a very poor command of the english language the other day) I'm waiting for your call, nb Nicola her italien isn't bad.
  12. bet the players wouldn't run to Nicola to tell tales if she started hitting on them either.
  13. Maradonna is looking for a new job as well, we'll probably c*ck up and get Madonna though.
  14. has he actually managed a team before?? sounds like whatever bookies have received bets on him are making some very easy money, you don't work for them do you???
  15. Would that be the same Leonardo who was at PSG for a while? Fabulous player anyway, boosted the home gate by about 10000 every match, ah the glory days of PSG before they ran out of Canal +'s money.

  17. and persuading Markus not to sack AP last summer (if that's true)isn't having faith in your manager? AP was sacked for a reason, it probably had very little reference to team affairs.
  18. is being 48 considered as young nowadays then??
  19. It is impossible to answer this question without knowing exactly why AP was sacked. Without that fact all the rest is totally irrelevant.
  20. we have money and backing I guess but anyway we don't need them, we have good players, the coaching was wrong; can't harp on about that enough times it would seem:smug: really am not convinced AP got the best out of what he has, mainly because of that.Maybe NC (and Reed I suppose) saw that and asked AP to change his coaching staff a bit,he said no and the all got the boot, how's that for a scenario?
  21. I couldn't say at what time he got the call, whether it was before the match, at half time or afterwards but at some time today Morgan got told that he has to be at Clairefontaine as soon as possible to play against Malta on Tuesday 5 o clock, think he was bitterly dissappointed not to get a call up for the 2 bleuets matches but as a couple of silly sods got needless cards last night in the Ukraine he has to fill in at short notice, not good for a young player to get that sort of call on matchdays really, although I think he may see his future elsewhere anyway. Other than that just don't have anything to add about today,AP got some good results with what to me was a very poor coaching staff, Dean Wilkins in charge of players such as ours is just a joke, must have been something extrordinarily serious for NC to give them all the order of the boot with no ready made solution in hand.
  22. It was only the JPT anyway, perhaps we didn't want to progress too far eh.As long as we have a new manager by the week end and Wilkins isn't in charge of the first team by then I'm not worried at all.Wilkins is part of the problem and surely no part of the solution. Also someone needs to tell Lambert to stop sulking over whatever it is he's miffed about and start doing what he does best..scoring goals.
  23. it's only the JPT FFS, probably cost us a play off place last season.
