nick..stop talking guff...do you think pearson was brought in to win the league..? or dodd and gorman..? I did not say burley was brought in to win the league..he was brought in to gain promotion and had everything he needed (more than anyone else) to do it....he did not get us promotion and failed...

maybe the lack of pace was down to burley not bringing in the right players..?

nick..burley was brought in with one aim..promotion..the season after next...much like pardew now.. should pardew NOT take us up next season I fully expect a new manager in place to have a bash after that..much like what should have happened after burley FAILED to take us up..that was what he was brought in (and given the tools) to do

of course promotion was IT that season..why would we **** all that money up the wall if we were "building" seeing as the parachute money was running out... burley failed...simple as that really

probably because they expect their team to win every game and were frustrated they did not...especially against the bottom club ..like I said, good mentality.. we should have that mentality IMO
