indeed..a player will get abused for 90 mins..being told his wife is a whore..he will die in a car crash or has aids or something...the said player will score a goal and celebrate by cup'ing his ear to the fans giving him stick, and the radio phone in will be flooded with irate fans slating the player for inciting trouble/not acting professional.. same with the stewards in some ways

i read an interview a while ago with grant... one thing he mentioned was that the team went on a 10 game winning streak in all competitions and they finally drew a game and the fans were acting like the end of the world, demanding he resigned etc..

totally agree..I thought grant was very good for them..he was a slipped penalty kick from winning the CL... the stick grant got for no reason from chelsea fans and the media makes you wonder if he would go back.

i remember people on here laughing at mills when he signed for donny saying "what a come down from citeh"..
