we have a bit of a weird democratic system... the commons will get defeated on anything..so making promises in an election is hard...the house of lords on the other hand has been defeated twice in god knows how many years (and in the same period the commons has been defeated around 400 times)..they make the law and they are unelected..

thing is...maybe he is better than lancashire...ffs, it is not hard.. glad me never had such an attitude when parhars signed.. like i said, two teams above us (one well above us) have signed players from no where with no experience what so ever...did their fans slate him...certainly not down here in plymouth, cant speak for wolves fans.. even if he is not that good..would you rather we tried than not...?

last time I went to vicarage rd we lost 3-2 in the league...louis boa-morte scored for us...lol

to be fair...he predicted administration as an 'end of year prediction' at the start of the season...he was roundly laughed at and abused, ridiculed and slated I wonder if he would get that reaction now...? -

agree just read the article and nothing wrong with it... infact, it is not far off what some say on here -
my job has severe levels of man power shortages..so even if they did a cull in the navy (has not happened since the early 90's after the end of the cold war and they realised it was a mistake) my part of the forces would STILL need to recruit... if you watch telly in the evenings you will notice the amount of recruiting adverts for the forces..the credit crunch is the best recruiting/retention thing that can happen... even if they did make me redundant...going by what happened in the early 90's...i will no doubt be very much 'quids in'...but this will not happen

but most people were happy to lap it up when kelvin said he wanted to stay....not one mention of OS bullshheet

i agree...how many times did I prey (on here) that we got billy davies...even when some said (and i quote) "I dont want that vile **** here"

some said that moving from the dell was our downfall...why is that..? was it because the dell created at time a "in your face hostile atmosphere" and the opposing team did not fancy it.. now they come to SMS and the home fans are on their side to a degree.. of course you can say that "i sang through the first half and they were crap"....but do you really think shouting abuse at players will help at all..? saying that..lowe in one swoop this season has probably ruined a good half o-dozen young careers by insisting they play all season...but does that mean they should get verbally abused..?
-
no...but it seems they want him to lose though..
-
i sense the masses are itching for him to lose another game already

I agree...blair was an exceptional politician...whether people agree with his motives and how he did things is another matter...but as a leader and a politician..he was superb
