  1. As I said it didnt last time. I would suspect winning a few games will bring the (fairweather)fans back.
  2. More air-headed nonsense. Gates stayed pretty much the same last time he left. It is utter rubbish to suggest that there is any amount of boycotters. There are a few that say they are "boycotting" but when you push them generally they say they cant afford it or preferred when we were in the Premier. Which makes them fairweather supporters of course...............
  3. Blatently it was timed later so there would be more fans walking down to the ground (to actually go to the game) and make look like there more marchers.I think the fact that there were no more marchers than last time shows how most thinking fans are wising up to thier agenda.
  4. You are not wrong. Some of our "fans" are so bloody precious. Hes now getting stick for only praising the fans in the stadium ! If I were him Im not sure I would be bigging up the road sitters.
  5. Of course there was more near the stadium it was fans going to the match. That was a poor turn-out.No more than last time (400 ? Im being generous) couple that with the superb weather and the cynically timed late start of the walk. I think the brilliant support in the stadium was more of a popular statement. The fans wanted to prove they could get behind the team and had enough of the petty politics and attention seeking from the protest clique.
  6. Upstairs At Erics was brilliant. Painted Wagon till about 10 then over the Coach Station to get a coach down there and then there was some random coach back from Bournemouth at about 3 in the morning.
  7. Pop Ambient 2009.
  8. Also interviewed on Sky he looked like a man close to a breakdown !
  9. A large part of the Northern End will be closed next season as building work on the ground redevelopment is started. The area behind the seats that end will become a building site. The seats will only be open for 20/20 matches. Good to see the work is going ahead in the current economic climate.
  10. I dont know who you are and Im not sure I have even read one of your posts.Whereas (although he talks ********) I know who Um is.
  11. Pathetic stalker.
  12. Totally agree. If there was another war I wouldnt want half the bed-wetters that post on here sat in the trenches with me. I also get the feeling that there are also some on here that are starting to enjoy the protest ******** as well. They seem to be getting a kick on how to protest next and also revelling in the attention they are getting too.
  13. Yes it heralded a new glorious dawn at Southampton Football Club..................oh **** no it didnt.
  14. You are so out of touch its frightening..........
  15. are those shirts going to be used next season or they going to be obselete ?
  16. Maybe there is something in it because Upjest and Wolves played a friendly recently and I am sure there was talk of a link up between the two clubs.
  17. I dont like the way it undermines umpires for a start and it slows the game down. Its pretty bad waiting for a decision but imagine sitting around waiting for a decision at a test match and you have no idea whats going on for 4 or 5 mins. Imagine if The Ashes last deciding wicket is on a referral and we are sat around waiting,it kills the drama........
  18. Agreed sign a player, Google him and then slag him down. Great supporters we have.......
  19. Brilliant reply. Is it that easy to become an administrator ?
  20. Thanks for a thoughtful reply but realistically the response to Wottes interview is very much hysterical scapegoatism and can only damage the club futher. I do not in any way believe that (a) administration or (b) relegation will in anyway benefit the club. As I have said I really do think that this rabid anti-Loweism has got to the point where some fans do wish this club ill. For my part I am not as Pro-Lowe as some might think (here goes my free season ticket and hospitality from Rupert) but I have not heard any CREDIBLE alternative. If Lowe left and Crouch/McMenemy took over things would get worse as they did before and I see no viable alternative. Please dont quote that pathetic Merrington led group or SISU either. It really does feel like many are just protesting because we got relegated and are not doing very well anymore and 50/60 other clubs could be doing that.
  21. I reckon thats (b) from the handbook. You couldnt make it up lol! What a fool !
  22. I know what you mean but some of them do.Whether it be a lefty anti-posho agenda or a destabilise the club until we get a fan on the board agenda.
  23. Just because someone doesnt share your dopey views ! You are making Alan Perrins point for him lol !
  24. You are not wrong.I can remember Alan Ball (as a player) being slagged down continually at a time when he was by far one our most influential players and the Sainted Francis Benali being booed every time he named was annouced as being on the team sheet. Saints fans are the same as any other fans in that they need a scapegoat be it Lowe,Benali,Wotton,Kelvin or whoever. Unfortunately this mood of hysterical scapegoatism has taken over and is poisoning the club.
  25. I think the same. Not sure its a LARGE contingent though, just a noisy minority with an agenda and another small and unthinking minority following them.
