Spot on. Of course they do. The interviews in The Echo , the "open letters to fans", the Legends fronted protest meetings , the demos , the sit-downs , the photos in The Echo the (here we go again) potential for one of them being a fanontheboard or club historian and so on.

I think a few of them are just moaners for the sake of moaners but I also think there is a small vocal minority that dont like Cortese because his success has scuppered any chance of this club being a parochial , fanontheboard led club. I believe when Lowe left they hoped for a club with MLT or LM as figurehead Chairman , a consortium of local businessmen and an uber-fan driven board.

Agreed Southampton City Centre was considerably more violent late 70's early 80's the only difference being the Police turned a blind eye to it and it wasnt reported in the local press (unless it was very serious) so the wetbehindtheears brigade didnt know about and so couldnt moan about it..... How true.......................lets get those quiz nights back on the table.I remember when Saints were a local club.Mediocre comedians got paid a fortune for wandering around the pitch at half-time.Legends got paid 5 figure sums for yapping in the corporate boxes.We are doomed. The only thing that will save us is a fan/legend takeover. Enough of this professionalism ,this being at the top of table, this winning thing.I want my club back.I want this vague,vague hope I might be the chosen one THE fanontheboard.
